That was one of the best vocal coach reactions I’ve seen. I avoid other the usual reaction videos as I only get oohs & ahhsss of the reactors, which honestly, I can do just as well if not better anytime 😛 but I don’t get to Learn or understand more of the singer’s technique or why the sound they make are so great or so difficult to craft beautifully. That’s Ricardo’s edge over the other reactors. His comments show his fine grasp of his field. Excellent!

This was a really good analysis of Morissette's performance. Also, the first time I heard her sing this, more than a year ago, of course I was amazed by her surprising whistle but, I was most entranced by the 15 seconds of complicated output from one breath near the end and played it over and over. You are the first reactor/analyst, in all that time, to call more attention to that than to the whistle. I just subscribed because of that. I know that when I watch more of your analyses you will have good information about the performances that other coaches either don't see or don't realize what they are hearing.

One of the most in-depth reactions I've ever watched here on YT. Also, unlike most coaches I've watched, you are one of the few who caught her long, belting phrase. I get it that hitting whistle notes is impressive, but a full belt, with varying tones and at most 15 seconds? That is a whole lot more impressive if you ask me. Subbing!

Finally, someone commenting about how long that phrase was at the end. All in one breath! Other vocal coaches oversaw that part and it's frustrating because, that's one hell of a talent. Even from head voice to that whistle...in one breath!
I enjoyed your review. If you're just discovering her, you have to check out some of her other performances (the ones in millions). They are that high for a reason. The one thing in common is how she shocks us all with the unexpected switch from chest to head-falsetto and that long run in one breath with that much control. She's just incredible!

I enjoyed your review. If you're just discovering her, you have to check out some of her other performances (the ones in millions). They are that high for a reason. The one thing in common is how she shocks us all with the unexpected switch from chest to head-falsetto and that long run in one breath with that much control. She's just incredible!

wow un vocal coach italiano che apprezza morissette..grande! ho conosciuto mori per caso su youtube circa tre anni fa e sono rimasto affascinato da questa cantante. Non sono un esperto di canto ma mi piace ascoltare tanta musica e di tutti i tipi e devo dire che morissette , malgrado la sua giovane età, ha una delle più belle voci di questa generazione. Qui su yt ha una marea di fans , sopratutto filippini naturalmente che la adorano (viene chiamata asian phoenix queen), e se mettessi i sub in inglese ti inonderebbero di commenti e di richieste. I liked so much your analysis of Morissette. You should react to So Hyang, she is a Korean singer who's known for her mix voice. Some of her best songs: Everyone, I have nothing, Lean on me, you raise me up, Arirang Alone, O Holy night.
