I feel like games like this could get INSANE with a few more peripherals that later gen headsets will have, consider having the option (as a dev) to scrape eye tracking data as input for your aim assist system! Even better, imagine if you could use non invasive BCI's to quantify a player's level of concentration to increase the potency of a spell. Exciting times we live in!
Do you have some spells that require both hands? I feel like you can be much more creative with those gestures without risking them accidentally going off. One suggestion for a one-handed spell would be a circular hand motion, perhaps it could be for a shield or a deflect?
Yes we are working on two handed spells. Most of our spells are one handed because you can have two different elements in each hand. We are refining the gestures down more now to stop misfires. Our earth shield will now be cast in a two step motion that will require you to pull earth from the ground and then cast. This really helps with the misfiring.
could u make a new earth spell where u use both hands to make a something like a multi spike hit that is long and short range depending on the hand position to change the range?

yes that is something we are considering in the future, however we have a lot of single player content to finish first.

I can’t really think of any off the top of my head but there is the handheld fireball.
