Set walkie talkie on channel 15, off the walkie talkie, press ppt & monitor button at same time & turn on walkie talkie it will change voice prompt from Chinese to English, and every time you change channel the computerized voice inform you about the channel number .

No walkie talkie invented till yet to speak over 5KM, if you like to use walkie talkie to transmit & recieve over 5km like police, fire brigade or any other department, you have to install repeator after every 5KM, then you can transmit. Simply says one repeator increase its power more 5km , 2nd repeator add more 5km, and then adding more repeator s its increases its range.

You can't use while charging, not tested for 24 hours

Its stand by charging time around 48 hours, with 1500 AMP battery, use time depend on conversation, basically walkie talkie is at tool to convey your message to other person instantly it's not made for long time conversation like cell phone.

Sorry for interrupt, I think baofeng 888s is best to use 1KM in city & around 3km in open area. Have no idea about price of this model in your country.
