I really like what you said about learning about different cultures through music, I do the same. Unfortunately, when your country doesn’t speak English it’s very difficult to become popular outside your country, the USA still has a lot of influence over the world and people focus on them more than any other country. Btw, yes Italy has very diverse landscapes, we have lakes, volcanoes, beaches (maybe not as beautiful as Jamaica’s), high mountains (the Alps and Appennini) and ancient historical cities like Rome, Naples. If you like the seaside Sardinia, Sicily and Apulia are really beautiful😊
If you want to listen a sweet/bitter feeling please listen to “La Rondine” at San Remo (lae_Rón_deenae = The Swallow bird). But there’s a caveat, get some tissues, you gonna need them, especially if you make some research before listening and discover that that’s a tribute to her passed-away father Pino Mango, famous italian singer a song-writer. Believe me it’s worth it!
