Fun build, you anticipated what your team might need early and consistently in the game. Fish Eye is a good-ish pick into invis heroes, but it also shows where your egg is which is why I like Egg Hunt for some invis heroes (Nova and Valera). Your level 4 pick helped you achieve lockdown, but sometimes limited your engage and lane because you were worried about dying. Dream is always a trade for that reason.
Aaah, murky. The hero who's role is to be a pain in the arse for the enemy team to deal with. King of split pushing, and the annoying time waster that the enemy try to kill but to do it takes too long. I got good enough at it that most games the opponents just gave up trying to fight, and would usually win if my own team was good at avoiding feeding the enemy exp.
I am genuinely surprised, that someone is still doing a guide content for this game. And it's a pretty good guide, to be honest. Not the best, but still good.
if I get to lane vs a melee opponent for most of the game i go Q build. does a ton of waveclear anyway and when you get 16 you turn really annoying with the right build. i like fish tank. kahuna at 20, absolute menace.
Double Socking: the action of gaming so hard you need two pairs of socks to contain the sweat dripping down your leg. Double Soaking: the action of soaking two minion waves per spawn cycle.
Interesting to see if you consider other characters as bruisers/solo laners 🤔 I have seen competitive players use greymane, tychus and alarak in solo lane!
Well, all of these heroes can be decent choice on solo lane in certain cases, but most of the time they feel better as dps in 4men. Greymane has no cc or self-sustain to be a complete bruiser. Same about Tychus, whose main purpose is shredding the enemy tank with minigun. Alarak has to scale sadism by getting takedowns, which is easier to do if you fight in 4men.
@@soak_kingwith the right talents, you can build a lot of sadism laning with Al. He can shut down solo laners hard with his awesome 1v1 and silencing, and build sadism using the combo talent. Then he rotates to mid when exp soak is gone, to snag a few takedowns in the team fight. He might not take down mobs as quick as a true laner, but he can deny the other team’s laner the chance to do so, while still not falling behind in sadism and his team fight potential, and then he transitions into a team fighter in the mid game with full sadism built, which is easier to do since his risk of dying and losing sadism is much smaller doing this. Once he’s at full sadism, you can be cautiously aggressive when he hits level 10 and uses his Ult to tank other team’s high damage talents, then getting kills at the same time. I’ve currently got about an 80% win rate as Al doing this strat on maps that have 3 lanes. I’m pretty confident walking into 1v3’s in the right circumstances with him when he’s at full sadism, and winning.
@@timparks9833 I understand what you mean. The main problem with picking an assassin hero on solo lane is that your team will lack of heavy frontline, which usually includes a tank and a bruiser. It makes your team unbalanced and less reliable. If your team already picked 2 dps, picking alarak on solo lane is kinda POG. Yes, he is a melee hero with a lot of AoE cc and some self-sustain. But he has pretty low hp bar comparing to most of bruisers, and his self-healing is not that much to really tank the damage. It is still more rational to pick Alarak as a mage, rather than a solo laner.
Technically speaking, any hero can fill the bruiser role. If you want to you can send Reghar and he will out shine most of the roster in a solo lane setting. However for the purpose of this series I am only covering the more traditional heroes for this role. I do have a few none bruiser class heroes that I will be making a video for such as Murky and Samuro.
Day 3 of requesting a cosmetic discussion section, can maybe talk about skinergy or if any skin choices provide an advantage through confusing enemy team, etc
Could you explain how is it even possible to confuse enemy team by using skins? If those people don't play HotS for literally the first month, they won't mix up different heroes in 99% of the time.
@@soak_king haha you're totally right, hots does a pretty good job of keeping silhouettes consistent with skins, effects looking similar, hit boxes never change etc. It's mostly a joke but maybe if we're stretching some of the projectiles or aoe ground effects might be harder to see on certain maps. Maybe having a malf skinned illidan and illidan skinned malf on the same team could cause a mistake or two, but super minimal.
Seeing you pick living the dream mentally hurt, really bad talent if you don’t take march of the murlocs it also encourages skittish playstyle with murky which doesn’t work with his unique respawn.
You pick Murky when you want an unrelenting body constantly thrown at the enemy team to distract and disrupt them.
I feel like you didn't abuse your respawn timer enough. I would 100% sacrifice myself as murky if there is a 50/50 chance of saving an ally.
Good point! I don't play murky a lot so I'm not always in the mind set that my death means so little

glad you're here!! Is there anything in particular you would like to see change to improve the channel?
Classic criticism without any details 😂
Murky actually beats almost every hero in the 1v1.
Loving it

What a frustrating game! So many late game dragons that did nth
It's so demoralizing getting a late game dragon and it dying before you can push anything
