Why does no one mention Michael Salvatori when talking about the music for the Bungie Halo games? Both he and Marty O'Donnell composed Halo's tracks, it was a joint effort.
Cos when credited, Marty's name came first. Humans being lazy will remember the bare minimum of information to trigger a total recall. So Halo music = Marty, but if you press us with "Marty and who?" We'll probably give a rough mispelling of Salvatori
I feel like Micheal Salvatori doesn’t get enough credit, whenever bungie music is mentioned I always make sure to mention both Marty and Micheal, and it hurts when people only mention Marty.
Thel 'Vadam has been and always will be my favorite Halo character, he's the only character I felt a true connection to and emotional story from. That final rendition of his theme in this video is honestly just haunting and tragic, probably sadder than Halo Reach's "Ashes" theme

I hate how shafted arby is, he was basically integral in every bungie era game, probably as important as chief, even in CE he's the one leading the forces against you and by the end he fights by you to the end. He shouldn't be left as a side plot, without a proper reunion with chief, he deserves to be fighting alongside him, as a friend.

Imagine in Halo infinite; The Master Chief is down on the surface of the ring, there’s explosions all around him, marines are falling as The Banished overrun the area. Looking up at the sky, the Pilot’s pelican gets shot down. All hope seems lost. The Chief desperately try’s to formulate a plan with The Weapon. Slowly this theme builds up, very quiet and muted at first, before abruptly stopping. A dark shadow casts over the battlefield. The Master Chief looks up to see a familiar ship. Suddenly this theme comes back loud and triumphant as drop pods fall from the sky, littering the battle field. An Elite pops out of a drop pod. “Forward brothers, fear not pain nor death!” The Arbiter pulls up in a phantom and drops down in front of the chief. They nod at each other. The master chief starts. “I thought you were busy.” The Arbiter pauses, then looks to the chief. “Were it so easy.” The master chief turns around to look up at a Banished command post, where Atriox has holled up in to oversee the fight. “Atriox must be stopped, what will you do now?” The arbiter responds. The master chief lifts up his assault rifle. “Finish this fight.”

Better refineries", I told myself, "if I just venture out and grab that rare resource I can bring it back and improve my industrial output tenfold!" If only I knew the hell I'd invite. Stranded on the edge of the cluster under rings of radiant blue light, I was barely scraping by but I was scraping by all the same as I pushed deeper and deeper into the swaths of Dark Fog Swarm Bases. Nearly endless, but only nearly. Until I heard it. "Building destroyed. Building Destroyed. Building Destroyed." Amidst my bloody campaign I couldn't see the warnings of advances in my own territory. I could only listen and glean the scale of my undoing from a distance as the number of buildings gradually rose on the top of my screen. Promethea, the center of power and industry in my Cluster, was falling; and there was nothing I could do. While I could reload my autosave, that goes against my philosophy of playing the game, so here I am mentally preparing myself for my slow trudge across lightyears back to wreckage I can't repair to see what's left for me to scavenge of my golden throne of technology. Really feels like I just got glassed.
