I pierced my own ears at impulse at night- (first time trying too) I had no proper supplies/ didn’t even clean first. All I had was a new sewing needle.
I didn’t have anything to shove it through with so I just kinda pushed the needle through pressing against the counter lol.
It took 10 minutes to get all the way through- then I realized I used way to small of a needle, so I got my biggest needle… it took half an hour to get it through(for both sides)
It’s a few weeks later and I have amazingly not been infected or anything, it turned out great.
I don’t regret this- it was a good way to save money. HOWEVER I do not recommend doing this without the proper supplies.

(I should also note I watched a lot of tutorials first- so if you do decide to do it just be prepared)
