Today we are going to take a look at the USS Prodigy!
This is such a nice model of the ship and it has the same weaponry and sound effects.
A big thank you to Hexagonal Nexul and Greystar De Derg for sending this over and allowing me to make a video.
First of all we will go against the USS Voyager and the Voyager A.

I think your speed at the beginning with the Prodigy was fine. You allowed Voyager to FEED you torpedo volleys.

Kate Mulgrew, by my count, has now played nine Janeways. Prime Janeway, evil hologram Janeway, silver blood Janeway, Schism Voyager Janeway, alternate future timeline Admiral Janeway, STO universe Janeway, STO Mirror Janeway, Actual Mirror Janeway, and training hologram Janeway. There may be more. That's quite a lot of Janeways.

But the real Question regarding the Voyager A and ProtoStar, do either of them have a photonic canon? LOL.
The only design issue I had with the Vivace class Voyager-A is the aft section could had been wider. As for the Protostar, you'd think that since it has an industrial replicator that it can make several automated attack drones&deploy them to support it in case of combat situations.
The first battle i feel would be how the battle would have really went in the show. I don't think Dal and gang could beat the Voyager crew
There's not enough coffee in the galaxy to handle 3 Janeways, even if one is holographic. I suspect Q arranged this as payback for Janeway provoking the Borg one too many times.
Concept should be reworked into a contemporary perimeter action ship. Armored hull, warp nacelles, and weapons ports. Pulse cannons to wear down light to medium shields before enemy weapons can disable the ship and study it.

You know, the Protostar looks a lot like the Enterprise-J, at least in the nacelles. One wonders if that was deliberate, implying the Universe-class has the same kind of engine.

Is this like Highlander, where the immortals fight it out to be The One? But instead of an ancient Scotsman and a barbarian it's just copies of Janeway? Is Admiral Janeway "The One" and is "The Prize" more coffee?
Protostar looks good. The design looks original but still elegant. Also: SPEED!

It's the Janeway.
They kept changing the shield frequencies at Wolf 359 but it had no effect. I doubt the anti-Borg beam would be damaging enough to defeat the Borg 🖖
Remember when Janeway later decided there was enough space on Voyager for two Janeways. 😉

I just imagine Dark Helmet in the Prodigy telling Colonel Sandurz to go ludicrous speed.
I think where an Intrepid class is a light cruiser, the Protostar is a frigate (even though it's probably a prototype).
The Protostar seems to be lacking structural integrity. Blowing up with 70% of your shields seems a bit rough.

Protostar is a weak ship. Its fast and nimble, but that's all it has to offer. Also, if I remember correctly, its a prototype so light armed too.

Thanks! I don't have an exact date. However the latest I've heard is that all of the ships are ready. It's just at the finishing touches stage. Hopefully soon 🖖

I’m gonna be honest though, the vivace class is a thousand times better than the voy A in prodigy
A "canon" version would only be even remotely one if it came as an official update for the game. Not happening.
What do I think? That this version of the super fast Protoshuttle is even more of a joke than the actual vessel in the show.
