one comp i wanted to share is 6 punk reroll with punk emblem on poppy, twitch/pantheon roll on 6 then go 8 for 4 emo 6 punk, just put tank items on poppy and typical builds on twitch/vex one more thing, i really like healing orb as an augment with this comp cos your backline pretty much deletes the enemy's frontline and you get to sustain your frontline from healing orbs, i think it's very broken.
13:11 as someone who has been playing Disco TF relgiously since the patch, Training dummies also get benefitted by keepers, so if you can get that augment that gives 2 training dummies that stuns as well, you can enhance your frontline even further and its really strong
Twin terror country is also very good if you can get it. Especially if you see someone going for Punk, Executioner, or Emo but still want to play the augment. Samira 3 star twin terror is an absolute monster, as is Urgot. Samira in particular. Can play that as 3 country using executioner headliner Samira and use the rest of your spots for tanks. Currently, twin terror Samira is averaging S tiers with 20% or higher win rates on both versions of the augment. You hit it, can easily win streak into a fast 9 or 10, and then fill out the board with 5 stars around her using your gold lead. Executioner headliner is especially good because it allows you to play her much more flexibly into the late game, seeing as it'll exceedingly unlikely you're gonna hit a spat given the tempo of the build. The twitch build has its advantages in that your power spike is earlier seeing as twitch is a 2 cost unit and abusing the punk reroll mechanic, however getting country 3 or 5 is very good at keeping you stable until you can spike too and the top end can be much higher. Can also play one into another, if you're not getting your twitches or it gets contested can give those same items to Samira or Urgot instead if you natural a bunch of country units and it is uncontested.
I hit Masters for the first time this season and right now I think Pentakill Akali is the best to climb. The comp has very few failcases, like you don't lose because you couldn't two star a specific unit (Disco) or because you were contested by a single person. It loses to Edgelord late but I'll always take a top 4 over whiffing and bot 4
this is so accurate, really good understanding of the patch. this is from a mid master euw player/GM double up player. You should do a double up video, as its absolute chaos, but they good kind of chaos.
Yes, the kind of chaos of when you're having a nice game then 2 players from different tag got recombobulator and now they have Zed 3 Ezreal 3 and your game is over
I just started rankeds like 1 week ago (usually only do normals). After following some of Frodan advices i have been able to reach Gold 1. I actually just reached gold 1 after having a pentakill headliner mordekaiser, which stomped a SUPER healing yone. Seeing the advices from the tier list and stuff, plus the mobalytics guides really helps
I really like pentakill comp even before this patch like I legit hit 10 pentakill 2 times straight because no one even bother them, they ridiculously powerful on the late game if you get 7 pentakill you had higher guarantee of 3th places most for the time
It waa just me (disco) and another disco player left standing who was playing AP Sona and kept deleting my backline, so I switched her to AP and went 1st 😭 AP Sona def seems to be the way to go now for this build
I tried disco one time cause I was running EDM jax and notice that lux kinda fits with disco because of the dazzler trait, twisted fate was my support with shred build, and yes I cant pull it off no more nowadays because edm jax got nerfed really bad
yup. when set 10 first came out, everyone put lux on there board. You'd put lux as your second dazzler or so (even though there was nami) and then you'd just play zac and edm zac with sunfire. He'd bounce around and stun people which gave your tf uptime to ramp up and kill. Good ol days.
In fact, at the moment, one of the worst met almost all builds use riven, no variety, just people collect or penta kill, 8 bit. Playing through other builds is impossible, because you just get killed by 3 stars in Riven Yon or Yasuo, you can forget about the fast 9 I was able to collect and 3 out of 10 game, in the rest I just did not have time to collect a full-fledged build
Disco is way better than twin terror twitch imo. At least never managed to go 1st as twitch against tf and always managed to easily win as disco against twin terror. Might be doing smth wrong tho.
ezreal is only good with heartsteel. You play 5 heartsteel midgame and whatever items you have on aphelious since that is your mid game ad carry gets transferred over to ezreal. You could also preemptively build a bb on him. Other than that, he should be pretty trash. Tried him with the superfan board the other day and everything just dies before you can ramp up. Caitlyns decent. Had a good top 4 with her a few days ago with double ie guinsoos, but my spot was pretty insane.
I got twin terror (gold) with what the forge final augment. Pantheon amumu vex and twitch headliner. Straight up beat 9 TD. It’s so strong. I did get good luck though on items.
