1. SAANEN - It is widely recognized as the world's best developed and highest milk-producing breed. It has been called and compared among goat breeds to the Holstein Friesian dairy cattle breed.
2. ALPINE - It is known for its very good milking ability. Alpine goats are one of the top milk producers in the world.
3. OBERHASLI - Among the best dairy goat breeds and they’re most famous for their milk. They’re native to Switzerland.

Pakistan and you would vote it the number one goat in the world in production of milk , DDP Daira Din Panah has a large skeleton curved horns n not a good quality udder either, but recorded average is 5 to 7 liters per day . I love my Lamancha mix girls! Quirky yet mellow and easily trained. 💕 and they’re not loud or bossy like nubians. (My mom had some when I was a kid and they were noisy.)

We had a Nubian Saanen cross doe. When she first kidded she gave almost 3/4 of a gallon of milk a day and was a good mother. She was quite bossy and kept knocking down the fence as she had a very large set of horns. She was a jerk, but I loved Buttercup regardless.

For sure white Saanen goat, French Alpine goat and Syrian Damascus goat are the best dairy goats.

for some reason I don't think the numbers are a little bit low...i had a goat that can give me 7 liters at day... pretty sure was some mixed...it was brown small ears longhorn big size...now her daughter give barely 1liter.

The best and the milkiest breed in Pakistan is DDP Daira Din Panah , please check it out , DDP is a very skeletal Goat 🐐 but not so very good looking , but the selected breeds averaged around 6 to 7 liters daily which is recorded, there's hundreds of videos on UA-cam

Your breed of goats is only for your country. Bring your goats to North America, on the northern half, and your breed would shrivel up. Milk production would be nonexistent. The top 5 breeds have proven themselves beyond a shadow of a doubt that they can, and do produce milk anywhere in the world.

Hi we have an alpine goat from 7months we bought her, her age around 15months at least, never had a baby, since we bought her, her breast was growing day by day full of milk, first we thought that she is pregnant than 5months passed and desapointed but has milk abt a littre. We brought her a male on the season but she doesnt allow him to come over her, What is this case? Can someone help me to discover her case? Should we take her milk every 3 days for example? ...
What you are describing I grew up hearing that called a "precocious" udder , producing milk before ever being bred for the 1st time . As far as her not wanting to breed with a buck , I have 2 like that & yes it is very frustrating. I finally built a " breeding stall/ chute in order to get them bred.

The Poitou goat is an endangered heritage breed. There are only about 3-4000 left in the world. They're only popular in one location in France. Commercial operations don't like them because of the long hair.
