Several ones have reached 170Kg and this one was 180kg, this few years a huge upgrade in the weight of sardi have been done thanks to the work and high quality expertise of an assocaition and it's adherents called ANOC

I agree on the Suffolk as No1 but you forgot the Ilse de France which is as heavy as the Suffolk. Best cascass is Suffolk x Ilse de France than next generation bred with Dorper ewes. Dorper is probably best mother milk producer and the Ilse de France x Suffolk ram will bring the twin and triplet genetics.
For 20 Years in South Africa this cross won consistently best carcass at shows and the sheep were grass fed with no grain beyond 6 months age
