My facelift rinse bar was awful. Tried it for 3 months. Ended up removing it and threw it in the bin. This brush actually looks good. Thanks for the heads up mate. Great video
I feel that for any rinse bar to work you also need a combination of good bristles that give you a great scrub and allow you to work more quickly too. But yeah, an over the top rinse bar is just a pain. But I think this is my favourite rinse method that I’ve tried so far.😃👍🏼

Dupont rectangular with rinse bar is my go to brush since 2017 last time I had a Gardiner's brush. Got 3 on the van including the 35cm with rinse bar. Keep hold of the rinse bar assembly and buy the cheaper pencil jet set up brush and keep swapping out that's what I do. You can buy spare elbows off eBay loads cheaper. I've also retrofitted a rinse bar to a phantom Dupont brush as well working well. The bumper fits those as well. The bumpers are great too- just about to swap my first one since Feb this year and brush is still brand new. A few quid for a bumper 4 times a year and the brush stock will last month's if not years longer. Love the rinse on even hydrophobic glass.
Close coupled hose with swivel is a revelation as well. Started with it last year and wouldn't go back. So great behind door handles and downpipes on conservatories etc. Swivel has increased my brush speed across the glass no end. Tried it as a noob in 2017 but didn't have the pole control then but e years later it was a game changer. Bay windows and larger windows/patio doors etc are a breeze.

Could the bar scratch the windows?
I have problems with my brush as the centre bar keeps turning and I have to keep a pair of pliers in my pocket to turn it back 😫
That’s strange. I haven’t heard of that before?🤔 Maybe you could super glue it in place?👍🏼
Can I use the x line brush head with an Unger pole mate
Yes, it comes with a euro thread attachment the same as the Unger kit.😃👍🏼
Love your videos ash 👍What would you pay for a brush like this. Stay safe 👋
I think this brush is about £45. Worth every penny if it’s durable and it helps you work more quickly.😃👍🏼
So what brush head would you recommend then ash ?
Great vid. Quite pricey I saw those brushes.
Yeah, not cheap, but worth it in this case I think for a decent brush that is going to last.😃👍🏼
@@aemackintosh is it the dupont 26cm rectangular wash and rinse bar brush at £49.50??
Hi have you or anyone found the rinse bar black elbows scratch the sill or plastic? Thanks
No, I’ve never had an issue. You shouldn’t be pressing down that hard.👍🏼
@@aemackintosh ok thanks. No we don’t press down hard why asked the question. Just notice it does scratch the cills with the cill brush 🤔
Good stufff man
Thanks
Hi mate
Where do you get your hypo from..
Bonnymans.co.uk 👍🏼
So xline did get in touch to plug their brush
They seemed to think it was a good idea but never actually followed through. So I just went ahead and did it anyway.😎👍🏼
Hi mate its coming in at £67 with bar and postage is that right? Quite pricey
Hmm, looks like they might have put the price up?🤔
@@aemackintosh the bar was £15 extra and royal mail postage was about £6
Will an ova 8 socket just screw into this brush ?
Yes.😃👍🏼
@@aemackintosh thanks a lot. Think I will be purchasing this brush. Just wanted to check the socket fits 😂
What flow rate do you use?
I raise my flow rate slightly to about 40, or just under.👍🏼
Nice one ☺️
😎👍🏼
Does this fit to ova8 pole?
Yes. You just need the Ova8 brush head adapter.👍🏼
Can you use this brush with hot water?
I don’t think so really. Although I’m not sure, but I would think that you would want a stiffer bristle brush for that.👍🏼
@@aemackintosh I have used gardeners up until now, they no longer have the stiff brushes on there website, only the 35 cm ones I thought it was a bit weird tbh.
Xline do have versions of this brush with stiffer bristles.👍🏼
@@aemackintosh oh ok thanks for the reply’s:) I just subbed
Anyone used this brush with hot water does it last 🤔
A great video , love your channel. Makes you think about a change in career. Only joking , thanks again.👍🏻
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoy it.😎👍🏼
How much?
Link in the description.👍🏼
Wait until your rinse bar has a couple of blocked holes........right pain in the arse! I use a thin bit of wire to clear them but sometimes the blocked holes point in all sorts of direction!!! 🤦🏻♂️
I was thinking that, but it’s been ok so far.😎👍🏼
@@aemackintosh give it time my friend give it time! 😂 - rinse bar is my preference but can be a pain in the arse sometimes!
Still don't understand, why in the majority of cleaning, why people rinse off the glass!
The dirt sticks to the water, so then you need to rinse away the dirty water so just pure water is left to dry without leaving spots.👍🏼
Another freebie,so the only thing you say about the gardiner pole is you repairing it as if to say they are shit, wonder how much x-line paid you to do that lol
You found time to do a video repairing it but not got time to review it lol
THE BRUSH WAS NOT A FREEBIE. As I mentioned in the video, I bought them myself. The Gardiner pole is also very good. I will review it soon.👍🏼

@@davidhatsell8522 I did
You watched the vid but did you listen…. Clearly not.
Ash paid for it
