I listened to the list of patreon donors at the end of the video and I heard the name of Herbert Gintis - a great man and scholar (a behavioral scientist) who recently passed away (January 2023).

The idea that the author point out in his book, Medical Nihilism, regarding the low level of evidence in which most of our treatments and statements in media are, for example, is quite important to address; it reminds us how much we have to work on it. Ben Goldacre, for example, says medicine is pretty much under crisis. But non of these observations lead to any kind of epistemological nihilism, it is sad to find that reasonable authors have to choose some loud title to sell. However, as I noticed the author is more reasonable than I thought just by seeing the title of the book, so I will definitely buy the book.

"is sexuality socially constructed or is there a nature to it" i mean obviously both are true. Humans are not "blank slates". And neither is sexuality directly encoded with perfect supervenience on our sexuality, it's constructed. Apparently all emotions are socially constructed (how emotions are made)
