- My fellow Tingleheads, how are you? I'm on the road headed to a family member's wedding, which has made for some tricky in-car editing/rendering! In this episode, I get to assemble and play with something I've been wanting for quite a while, a mini Zen Garden :) So get your mantras ready, as we quiet our minds with some zen tingles.

It's so weird reading all the hate comments from like 2 years ago when nobody really knew about asmr, but now the community has grown and more people know about it,so now you don't see as much hate. Great video!
The little broom is for sweeping the sand off the edges. :) I can you really love your son, you talk about him often and it's really sweet. My son is about the same age so I totally relate.

I grew up a mile or so from a train track. I used to fall asleep to the occasional train, so the airplanes were actually a nice addition. :)

I've literally just bought one of those for my friends house for a housewarming gift, she has a Japanese theme in one of her rooms and really wanted one as they chill her out!

I went to a real zen garden in Japan which was famous for having all seven rocks arranged in a way so that no matter where you were standing around the garden, you could not see all of them at one time. It was SO amazing. Zen Buddhism is my favorite kind of Buddhism, it's just so peaceful!

I get sooo sleepy when I watch your vids so days when I have class I'll watch them at 9:30 pm and fall asleep at 9:45 pm
Your nails are just electric-awesome. Also, in zen, if you get a "big urge" to do something, it's really you that's requesting it, and you are mindful of making the request... you should do it! A handprint in a zen garden is just as lovely as some rake marks. Everything you make in a zen garden is a mutable statement of your brain at the time. Imagine it like an artistic dipstick. In a day or a few hours, you can just *whoosh* wash it away and see how you're doing again.
I think the reason she gets so much hate is because she had set up a schedule for herself, and when she doesn't meet it people just expect her to have kept her deadline. Same thing happens with Achievement Hunter.
I really like the sound of the metal rake on the plate, and when you sprinkle the sand around 33:00, thank you for this relaxing video!

I want no so bad. Zen garden vids are one of the first types of asmr vids I got into.. Like before I even really knew what asmr was.
I think the traffic is kind of soothing
I would imagine the "sand smoother" is the flat piece of stone you're using as candle "coaster" ;). A wonderful video, as usual. Your voice is both calming and tingly :).

Jeeze that zen garden has been through the ringer, roughed up brush, broke wooden rake, adding rocks and beads to it....man someone used the shit out of that poor thing.

Oh boy, time to add 'Sand Pouring' to my list of triggers!
As you mention in beginning, there is some background noise but it actually adds a positive to the ambience I think, as it is a soothing kind of motor sound.
I absolutely loved this!! It seemed like the next time you try this out though that it would be easier to do the sand design first so you don't have to work around the stones :)
signs of asmr addiction maybe? :) i like to go workout in the gym til i'm all sore, then come home plop down in a recliner and turn on some wonderful asmr vids such as this one, and just melt away into unconsciousness. awesome...i'm an asmr addict and proud of it.

I bought that exact zen garden set - I thought it would be more relaxing than it was, but it ended up being pretty fun.. until I had to clean up spilled sand.
