I definitely do not do enough to capture on raids. You've made it clear to me that it's not the lack of things I can do or even my own creativity, it's my own laziness holding me back and I needed to hear that. Also, the pivot idea has given me an interesting idea, especially with Halloween in coming. Thanks Dan, as always super motivating to push that bit further.

Oh man great timing! This literally happened to me yesterday. I got Raided twice but none of them stuck around and no new follows. I'm for sure going to start doing more of these things

Very good advice! I will randomly raid other streamers and everything you said it spot on. Nothing worse than dumping your chat onto some ones stream that almost doesn't seem to even care.

I'm not sure how odd my situation is with raids is, but I don't seem to have a problem keeping raiders watching exactly. However, even though they stay for like an hour before dropping, off none of them follow or seem to come back.
Perhaps using some tips mentioned here will keep them coming back! First impressions mean a lot on Twitch:)
Yesterday I got raided for the first time with a "big" group (30 xD) and I just didn't know how to react xD I was not prepared xD thanks for the video :) now I get a better idea for next time :D

Step one: get raided ✍
Raids don’t always equal audience retention. You could be raided by 1000 viewers but if there is nothing there for them of interest, they won’t stick around!
