Join us for this season's highs and lows. We kick the season off in Virginia, then hit the NC timber for some squirrel hunting action.

I grew up in NC. Done plenty of squirrel with my Granpaw's single shot 22.
Man those rounds are great. I can just tell from the whack sounds on impact. Really knocking them out. Good work
Wow I want a CZ. Awesome video. I had great time watching this especially because I was out 2 days ago hunting squirrel too.
Thanks for taking time out to watch. Having videos helps with the withdrawals in-between hunts.
I just purchased a 1973 Glenfield marlin in excellent condition. I have a Bushnell banner dusk to dawn 1-4 x 32 scope on it. I am customizing the trigger this week. it is a very accurate rifle. I am going to use it for squirrel and rabbit.
Very nice. It should put a smile on your face.
18:36 my heart dropped when you missed those shots 😂😂😂
Great hunting!
I wish I could explain what I did wrong. That squirrel should have been in the bag! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.
I really enjoy watching your squirrel hunting videos. As someone that enjoys squirrel hunting, it's always good to see others hunters enjoying the sport. Here in Wisconsin, our season is kinda short (mid September to end of January), so we don't get to hunt squirrels for as long as some hunters in other states.
I tell ya guys. this is the best squirrel hunting videos ever. thanks for sharing
+Rodney Wroten Thanks for the compliment. We do our best.
I'm a serious squirrel hunter from central new York and I watch your videos repeatedly. I'd love to hunt with you some day. Need new limb chicken videos!! 👍
Appreciate you taking time out to watch multiple times. We are currently filming for the upcoming video, likely dropping in March. I don't turn out monthly's due to lousy viewer numbers. Plus one big video works better for me. We've gathered over 40 minutes this year so far. Be sure to check out @passitonoutdoors he's a fellow New Yorker that's into squirrel hunting.
When you shoot squirrel it is very good, I enjoy it very much! Keep up the great work I will continue ti support you.
I was born in Staunton, used to hunt McKinnley on the mountain, and Walkers creek.Love then big Fox squirrels.
Forgot to add, I live in Texas now and hunt the Fox Squirrels with my CZ 452 or Lithgow LA101. I really like them both.
I’ve heard really good things about the Lithgow. It’s got a lot of features I like. Shoots well from what I’ve seen also. Fox squirrels don’t stand a chance. Good hunting, brother.
When their eyes bulge out, you know it’s a good shot! 👀 lol greetings from PA! 🇺🇸
CZ🇨🇿
Absolutely right! Glad to have you watching from PA.
Awesome video Nate! It's hard to film a squirrel hunt but yall do it perfectly!
Glad you enjoyed it. We didn't film as much as we should have, but we still got some decent footage.
Great job capturing your hunt , nice shooting to.
Appreciate it. Those wirey little critters make for a challenging target. Takes a few to make a good Brunswick stew.
Excellent hunting, I have had a 25 headshot streak, my personal best. Love squirrels.
That's a impressive streak! They are fun to chase. Plentiful and lots of opportunity to shoot. Thanks for taking time out to watch.
Another fine video, Nate.
Good on LeBrad for runnin' his hand off into that hole for that squirrel.... he's a bigger man than I am!!!!!!! I wouldn't have left it there, but I'd have to devise another way...
As always, thanks for posting the vids... I sure enjoy them.
Thanks for stopping by to watch our squirrel hunts from this year.
love this vids great hunting and thanks for sharing so we'll see it with y'all every year
Love it! Got yourself a new subscriber here.
Thanks so much! We really do enjoy getting after squirrels. We’re counting down the weeks before season opens again.
natebonebusta you’re welcome. Also check out my channel if you care to.
I love that sub sonic 'whop'
There is no denying an impact vs a miss. It’s even more awesome to here your hunting buddies connect from about 100 yards through the timber!
Got him right in the shineckle. You learn that from the gundudes too?
+Steve Branson Ding, ding!!! Was a listener from the start. Good ol Karl, Stan, and Tommy. Seems to be a real effective spot on a squirrel. Thanks for leaving a comment.
Cool video I want to go hunt but I don't know where
Awesome shooting.
Great work Nate. Whats your secret for those high angle shots? I'm nailing them on the ground but once they get a bit of elevation, man I'm struggling to connect.
Thanks! High angle shots can be a pain. I certainly don't have them mastered, but the key to connecting is aiming low. I'll usually rest my crosshairs on the bottom outline of the head to make a high angle shot. Hope that helps.
Awesome! Keep up the great videos!
+Leonard Martin Glad you enjoyed it!
Please do a new video on skinning them
Nate, great video. Have you ever attended the Shawnee squirrel hunt?
+james cottrell Thanks for watching. Never been to Shawnee, looks like lots of fun though.
Maybe it’s your microphone and my speaker, but this shots sound very loud for a subsonic round that’s also suppressed. What’s your opinion actually being there?
Probably a mixture of the microphone and the impact of the round making contact. It’s much more quiet in person
Hey man. I don’t have any hunting experience. I purchased my lifetime license and I’ve been plinking my Marlin 60 for some years. I’ve never eaten squirrel and would love too. Every video has a comment about shooting into the air being unsafe. Can you touch on this?
I guess it really depends on where you are hunting as to the safety of shooting in the air with a .22lr. The more rural an area the less I worry about it. That being said, what goes up must come down. Some only take shots when the squirrel is in front of an effective back stop. That will lower your shot opportunities because the squirrels rarely read the script. I think it's a personal choice made by the hunter. Each shot has to be considered for safety concerns. I learned that very early in my hunting years. If you don't feel safe doing so, your best option is a shotgun.
Nice video guys keep on the videos
What are the shooting sticks that you use?
amzn.to/31d71D0
Nice shooting, what your camera mount?
Love those CZ rimfire rifles! Nice shooting!
Looks like y'all had a blast! ;)
+WanderingBard Outdoors We always try to make things entertaining! Thanks for taking a look!
GRATE SHOOTING MATE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK (UK SHOOTER )
+Tim Taylor Roger that, I appreciate you watching!
Can someone please tell me what kind of weapons they are using??
Sure can. Browning Tbolt, CZ 452 American, CZ 455 American. Out of those we prefer the CZ’s.
@@natebonebusta okay.hey I really appreciate..
Good Hunting Brother
What kind of gun and scope are you guys used ?
We use more than just one type. Mainly CZ 452 or 455’s. Browning T-bolt. All in 22LR. Scopes range from Sightron, Bushnell, Vortex, and Clearidge.
natebonebusta thanks for the information
Considering a 17 HMR, Whats your opinion on that cal?
Head shots only if you want any meat left. It's loud for me, but it's very accurate out past 100 yards.
Thats about what I have read. Also the 20 gr solids are the best for less meat loss.
Nice vid
Have you been doing any hunting this year
For sure. Count is 38 currently.
Is that a silencer on your rifle? If so, what brand?
Yes it is. Hard for me to hunt without one now. The reduction in sound is great on the ears. It's a Dead Air Mask on my rifle. LaBrad James has a Thompson Machine Isis.
natebonebusta what kind of rife is it
this is awesome
Nice video 🇬🇧
Appreciate it. The next one will be out in a couple of weeks.
natebonebusta ok looking forward to watch it. Keep hunting 👌👍🇬🇧
awesome kill footage keep it up.
I hunt with a Browning A5 12ga
Just point and shoot
man it must be over run with deer
+Rodney Wroten I was blown away with how easy it was to walk up on deer in those mountains. The squirrels on the other hand....
awesome to watch you guys. cant wait till next video. thanks
@@natebonebusta what kind of scope is om your rifle?
I love squrriel hunting but its to hot right now to hunt nate but i am going to ga to kill me some fox squrriels
Dude, you can flat shoot!🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫
Thanks for the vote of confidence. Lots of bench time helps. Appreciate you watching.

Great footage "subscribe "!!!
Awesome!! We’ve got a couple more seasons worth of videos already uploaded to help with the withdrawals of squirrel hunting season. Thanks for taking time out to watch, glad to have you aboard.
Shooting a .22 up in the is not a very safe thing to do...
Not if you stretch first
What type of scope do you have on your .22?
Depends on which rifle?
