1968 Hohner Clavinet C w/ D6 Preamp -
Ran this clav thru a - 1969 Vox/Italiy Wah (trash can inductor) Klon overdrive, Mutron III envelope, Mutron Phasor I- all reverb and delay done via strymon blue sky and timeline, recorded into a dry fender twin reverb - zoom q3 recorder

As one who owns a C, two comments: no samples can do a Clavinet justice, simply because with its uniquely shallow and fast action, it does not play like any other keyboard .
The other comment is that the C is particularly susceptible to pickup hum and noise-even radio-interference, which may have been corrected in subsequent models.

In stock form the C did not have a string mute- all though we do have one here from a D6 which could be retrofitted if desired ;)

This has an original D6 pre-amplifier we had on hand which we repainted the D6 endblock to match the "C" white/off white color.
No brand-X parts used in this build- has yarn, oem preamp (rebuilt) - totally stock aside the D6 preamp- All work done on premises
