This is the 1st time in my life I actually wanted the previous version of the phone then the current one. Other then the processor I think the note 10+ is overall a better phone and a better deal. Samsung did not do a good job on the note 20.

The ultra is amazing but I like the note 10+ plus 2019 was a better year than 2020 and the note 20 just has slight changes atleast in my opinion thats all I have to say anyway

I love my note 10 + the only gripe I have with it is if you look at it the wrong way it scratches. I've had $30 phones that don't scratch as easily.
I got the note 20 and my god people need to stop crying about the plastic it feels almost like a warm metal and it feels really good
I honestly don't understand why people cry about the plastic when alot of those people have never even felt it in person.

Did you buy a case for your note 20 5g?
I had the note 10 plus loved it. Had crappy phones before that for years. But it stopped working. I didn't drop it. But the top half was no longer working. Lost all sensitivity to touch. No matter how hard I tried. I meant to get the ultra but got the note 20 5g. It was the end of a long day. But I enjoy it. I don't watch TV or play games on my phone. That's why I have my big screen TV for. Plus my Alienware laptop. For gaming. It does what I need it to do. I don't take so many pictures. My videos are downloaded to my laptop for editing. The only opinion that really matters is your own.
I upgraded form my s9 to the note 20 because of the bigger screen and the cameras are a plus, but I think if you have note 10 then I'd wait a year or two then upgraded. Also I put a case on my phones so the back really doesn't matter to me and I'm kinda liking the flat screen.

I'd choose the Note 10, it looks and feels more premium and is also more compact.
Just ordered note 20 256Go 4g for about $950 with free galaxy buds+ and the official case, I think it's a good deal.
Am I the only one who prefers the beautiful plastic back and the flat screen ? Actually I got a bad experience with glass back and curved edges letting the phone be vulnerable and brittle.

Ya i think the note20 is not bad with the plastic it won't crack when it drops and the flat screen will be more durable than a curved screen
I agree and I own the s20 n plus and had the note ten plus last year . The glass back and curved display is actually a con for me not a pro . Glass back is just something else to break and be slippery while curved edges never made sense on a note writing with the s pen

I live in South-East Asia, encountered this deal on Samsung official store, go put my money on it straight away.. I used S8 for over 3 years before, got so paranoid after i cracked the screen and ended buying UAG cases for it 😂 curved screen is so overrated..

I have a Note 10 and i simply LOVE the little Note. I will pass the upgrade to the 20 model and probably wait for the Note 21 (???) or 22. Unlesss of course i get a very good deal on the Note 20 Ultra. Great video. Thumbs up!
I finally bought a Note 20 Ultra with a huge discount. Its undoubtedly a powerhouse. But i cant decide what to do with my Note 10. Unless I can sell it at a very convenient price I will probably keep it and use it as a second phone.
@@wpymes I’m in no hurry to upgrade my 10+ ....still awesome since day one, 12g ram / sd slot where now scamsung copied apple forcing us to buy limited set storage....I don’t want to rely or pay more for cloud storage.....definitely keeping 10+ as backup, glow is perfect in clear case, it’s not rainbow bright in real life but subtle.

Perfect video to made my decision to made a gift to my mother. She owns the original galaxy note still, the technological bump with the note 10 will be awesome and still the size and button position is more close to the original

Hmm. I have thought alot about getting the note 10+. If it will get the android 12, that is a good thing. Wondering if future updates for note 20 ultra and future phones will be worth paying more . The thing here is that if most future Samsung phones are only getting better updares for cameras, video and these sort of things, i am not that interested in those things. My attention goes to the S pen, but, honestly how much more can an s pen do? But, the prices i have seen even today on the note+, are i think still too high to be about 1 year and a half or so older. So, what are other note owners thoughts on this? I am really having a hard time making a decision. I still have note 8, which is actually in good working order. However, it truly is outdated in the software area. Still stuck on 9. Not getting anymore, except every now and then maybe a security update pops up. Sure would like to hear from anyone who mighy have the same thoughts. 😊

Flat screens are better for the s-pen.
I'd love a note but with Apple-One replacing my news and spotify subscription, owning an iphone is about £200 cheaper a year. Add that to 5+ years of updates and it's a no brainer - I have to move from Samsung to iPhone.
I would get the note 20. It’s between the 10+ and is upgraded but it’s also the same as the note 20 ultra.

Can you please check if the s-pen from note 20 ultra works with note 10 plus, I mean if it works full functions, including the low latency. I know from other articles that note 10 plus s-pen work on note 20 ultra. So if the s-pen is fully backward compatible, it could be considered as a little upgrade for Note 10 Plus, having reduced latency? Just a thought

It seems like the choice is either a price effective plenty good enough Note 10, or the Note 20 Ultra for an all out phone. The regular Note 20 seems out of place.

Only similar priced if you don't know how to shop for deals. You can easily get a 10 plus in the $600 range

If it was 849$ samsung note 20 would be a success and in a much better situation...That price would be fair enough to compensate the missing stuff from the 20 ultra

Samsung could have given s20 type minimal curves on the note 20 series I dont know why Samsung again went back to curve displays and the note 20 ultra looked like last years note 10 plus whereas the s20 series with minimal curve displays looked futuristic and more practical

I really don't get it. It is just the plastic back and everybody uses a case so no drama. Other than that, it has an objectively better camera, better CPU, better SPen. All phones are more expensive this year because of 5G. Otherwise this phone would cost $800.
We have gotten spoiled that's why people are complaining about a phone with a plastic back

im not sure why it matters whether the back is plastic, aluminum, or glass. all 3 are just cheap recyclable materials

Actually Samsung said that the note 20 series s 20 series the note 10 series and the S10 series would all get 3 years of updates so 2 more for last year's phones

I got the Note 20 5G with 256 GB with Galaxy Buds+ for $1000 and tbh i kinda regret it but now its starting to grow on me due to me not worrying for glass breaking due to curve display or glass back display.
Note 9 > Note 10 > Note 20. The Note has been getting worse for the past couple years now. Samsung insists on watering down the feature set on the normal sized devices, forcing users to pay a ridiculous sum for the behemoth plus and ultra models. I would love to see a full-featured Note Mini, with the quad HD 120 hz display and expandable storage, in a body the size of the Note 10. Sadly, Samsung will continue to value its profits over everything else.
Plastic back is better... I don't have to worry about it being super slippery and full of fingerprint. The screen is better flat especially when using the stylus. So the note 20 for me.... Including eSim

Current Google Fi subscriber, picked up a Note 20 for $500 straight up. No trade in, no rebates, no google credits, just $500.
At this price, it's worth checking out and keeping for 6-12 months and then trading it in on an s21 or something better.

The note 20 is my first regretted note purchase. This note feels inferior to all the models I hade before, (cheap plastic backing). The Bixby button sits too low on the right side of the device, causing accidental launching of the app, driving me nuts!! I didn't get the "Note20Ultra" so I can't speak bad on it. I definitely feel like the note 20 cost way too much for what it is and 5g with my carrier is slower than 4g and even drops calls. So all in all its like I paid up, for a downgrade in every aspect.😑

Note 10 is much better than Note 20...
I traded in my note 10 for note 20 simply for its flat screen. I've been agonizing these curve screens for years.. never liked it. So hard to get a good screen protector as well. It's sad though to leave my shiny aura glow and perfect size note 10, but I hate that it have issues in getting stable 4g signal. Hope this note 20 is better in that department.

Software updates are fine.. nobody cares after a time but 5g is a big deal for future. I personally loved note 10 but buying it in 2022 will not be a very wise decision
The note 20 doesn't actually use proper 5G, it can reach highers speed of 40%, of the fastest 4G, but it isn't really gonna hit the 500+mbs
This is US version.. In my country, Samsung uses Exynos 😂
