This starting 5 6 minutes set up the film. Those Miami streets, skyline, skyview and this music such a Killer in the opening moment. No one can dislike the movie after this scene
Sushant, I never saw this film before and I just started now on Netflix. You're absolutely right - clouds like fire over a Miami rippling in fog and heat hazes and corruption... They don't make 'em this epic anymore, though Lawd knows they try... Had to pull this track up on UA-cam ASAP.
Doesn't seem that way. In the end of the movie they passed the baton to the new younger crew. This was done the same way in the TV shows Sleepy Hollow and Person of Interest.
80’s was the best for music by singers, not on looks or other crappy auto tuned garbage from todays era! Very little from todays 2000 era I could listen to more than once a week or month. None stick in you’re head bit a few, right?
Lorne Balfe ("Mission Impossible Fallout") is the composer for "Bad Boys For Life".... Dunno how much he'll use this theme, but he did say he was gonna use elements of Mark Mancina's original score. I'm really hoping we hear it. I love BB2, but I thought it was disappointing they didn't reprise any of Mancina's music.
Riggs and Murtaugh... Tango and Cash... Lee and Carter... Lowrey and Burnett. Just sad they can never bring back the buddy cop movies of the 80s and 90s :(.
Maaaaan, i totally forgot this beautifully made soundtrack. Why Mark Mancina didn't became famous like Hans Zimmer. I really enjoyed this song back in the days. Even now 2017 i still feel glory and my skin shivered from this masterpiece.
I've been using this theme song as my ringtone for almost 15years! and OMG! I've heard it once more in a movie Bad Boys for Life yesterday at the cinema
Can we just agree that everything (more or less) to ever come out of Hans Zimmer’s company is the greatest thing to happen to music in TV/film since John fricking Williams?
Why do you ask a question about Hans Zimmer in a Mark Mancina song? It doesn't make sense. Here people come to enjoy this brilliant soundtrack of a great saga, Hans Zimmer has nothing to do here, even though I love his music.
@eva completely agree with this statement and also which I think your correct in what you are saying,, hans Zimmer is one of the best, if not the best sound track composers ever, that is it !
@@jamesmurphy3691 if it wasn’t for Nightwish, I wouldn’t of become in the mega Hans Zimmer fan that I became. In case you were wondering, how that even ties in and who Nightwish are? Nightwish of a symphonic metal band from Finland. The main composer just happens to be a Hans Zimmer fan, during the 2000 Wishmaster tour, they did a cover of deep blue Sea and Crimson Tide. Then they started treating their shows like a mini movie of sorts, so they do use Crimson Tide, multiple times as intro tracks during, the once world tour (2004-2005), the intro track used was red warrior from the last samurai and the ending track when the band would take the final bow would be all of them from King Arthur. In around 2007, when I found out that Zimmer did the soundtrack to the rock (1996). I lost my fucking shit hard. I also like the score to the peacemaker with George Clooney and Nicole Kidman, in terms of nuance, composition/motifs etc, I would say that the Peacemaker soundtrack has a lot of similarities between the rock and probably Crimson Tide.
By far this is the goat of all theme music ever created Mark Mancina created something that will become an unmatchable icon to movie theme music. You cannot help but letting this envelope you once you have heard this masterpiece.
Iconic track from an iconic movie. I also love Bad Boys 2 and Bad Boys For Life was mostly still good despite its flaws but nothing will ever beat this first movie. It was perfection and frankly Martin and Will were at their best in this movie compared to the following two. Marcus' character was definitely treated the best here.
Bad Boys for Life was pretty terrible and just one cliche line after another that specifically pandered to people who grew up in the 80s and 90s. It was not a well written script at all. 1 and 2 still hold up today and are classics.

Very good movie !
So right, that pure Jerry Bruckheimer artistic dramatic style (Roland Emmerich is also very good at this kind of dramatic style) ;P
The third brought this back!
The first 20 seconds of this raff gives chills.
Glad to hear this soundtrack again in "Bad boys for life". 😊
I was bobbin my head during the intro😁
Me too. Really made it feel like a true sequel, all the ways it called back to Bad Boys (1995).
