I don't watch any shorts/tiktoks, I completely don't understand why people like it.
I really like this new monthly reset organization.
I'm strictly a long-form video type of girl...I experimented with making reels in the past but it's not just for me and I've come to terms with it. My vote is to keep your energy on making bomb long-form videos instead of splitting your energy for something you're not super excited to do (at least that was the vibe I got).
i love long form videos - i usually put on a video when i’m getting ready in the morning or making food so i like not having to queue up another
Yay monthly reset! So excited for the new notion template you're working on too. I'm on team long-form content! I will 100% support any short-form content as well of course. A healthy amount of short form is great so long as it doesn't lead to burnout.
Also to answer ur question: personally I don’t like short form content and it kind of bothers me when it’s uploaded to UA-cam lol. I’m here for the long form!! And honestly if you don’t feel inspired or comfortable making short form, why don’t you just like… not? Lol. Like no need to put that pressure on yourself! I know everyone talks up short form but you thrive with long form and it’s clearly working for you!! I think your time is better spent on long form. Obviously totally up to you but just wanted to give my two cents ❤
I am a long form content fan! I adore your videos and your ability to stay authentic to you. I find that short form content enables endless scrolling and winds up leading to less meaningful content. I get so excited when your new videos drop because they are something I watch during my morning/night routines! Thanks for showing another Ohio girly that life in NYC can happen(-:

I only like long form videos. I play them in the background while going about my day, or watch them during my down time. I'm not a fan of reels, tiktok, etc at all.

I’m a long form content kinda person! I don’t watch the shorts from people I’m subscribed to, but that’s because I watch UA-cam on my TV most of the time. So I would rather put a 20min video on.

long form alllll the way for me! Although, my attention span is not the best. so if I truly enjoy someone's content, I will watch their shorts. But it's mostly like my favorite artists doing whatever, comedian shorts, OR really good fashion videos!

Notion is so confusing for me LOL. I've watched your video and others and I just can't figure it out!! Always love your reset videos though, it reminds me to set my goals! One of mine is to hit 500 subscribers this month which seems like a stretch but I'm feeling confident as of now haha
I personally love long form, I know short form is all the rage right now and apparently isn’t going anywhere, I think people still want to be where they can tune in for longer than 60 seconds. It’s a more reliable investment in someone and their brand, and not a quick dopamine hit. It’s comforting to tune into your favorite UA-camr, a lot of times short form makes me anxious after scrolling too long. Love your videos, love your personality, and always rooting for you!
I watch shorts if they catch my interest and have discovered new people to follow that way. If you're interested in using them for that, maybe you could do shorts that reuse things filmed for your vlogs (like "come to dance class with me" or "check out this Vegas hotel I'm staying in"...)

making goals that are time bound and specific will help you to achieve them... for example instead of saying read one book ...you can be more specific and give yourself a time line...like...read 2 chapters by June 15th ... SMART goals are not always easy to create..but they are helpful.

To be honest.. I usually just watch short videos on IG and a little bit on TikTok.. but I mostly prefer longer videos on UA-cam, it gives the creator more time to tell a story without the pressure of trying to fit as much content in a shorter version. Plus I love UA-cam vlogs 😅

I don't watch shorts at all. I used to be on tiktok but it gave me emotional whiplash and impacted my mental health kinda bad. If it doesnt inspire you or feel fun to react short form content dont feel pressured to!
For some reason I don’t mix and match my consumption on the platforms. I use UA-cam for long form, tiktok for shorts and insta for posts/stories.
Long-form videos on UA-cam ONLY 😫 I can get the short-form on Instagram and TikTok, and it just feels more fitting to have short-form content on those platforms. I follow creators who post UA-cam shorts, but I barely watch the short-form on content on UA-cam :/ Anyway, loved this video! I love resets so much ❤
I do watch shorts from the YT I like but I prefer long videos. I’m not into tik tok but I love to keep along with YT who also have instagram for a more daily base content.
I love your old motion template and the plan with me’s! I was curious if you had any tips or resources for creating your own pages and what not because I definitely got overwhelmed just editing the template. I have some trips coming up so ideally want to create a budget and all in one travel planning page!

I don't watch ANY short form content on youtube. I don't have tik tok on my phone and I try to avoid it because I don't need the distraction in my life. Sometimes I do watch reels on instagram though, lol.
I'm not an overall fan of UA-cam Shorts. To me, short form content is for social media like instagram and tiktok. However, for the creators who are NOT UA-camrs, it makes a lot of sense for them to just add the content over to yt shorts as well.
I never watch shorts because it's just the clips from the long videos I already watched, cut up and made into a short. If that makes sense. I get mildly annoyed when I get a bunch of notifications and it turns out to just be a bunch of shorts.

Long form videos all the way. I normally skip any shorts. It annoys me for whatever reason to see them in my feed especially when a creator posts the same shorts on Tiktok, IG and UA-cam.

I don't watch Shorts, I am here for long-form content. That being said, I've heard Shorts are good for growth. As a new UA-camr, I am going to try and periodically upload them. Maybe doing Shorts would get your videos in front of new eyes.
Long form content is much more interesting. When one is on too many platforms the content is repetitive and becomes boring and I personally lose interest in the person.

I personally have a love hate relationship with short form videos, I love editing them I think they are super fun to edit and I can crank out a ton in a short amount of time but idk I just don't always have as many ideas for short form content because they are so, well, short. I have tried to post on TikTok and Instagram but I've just found that it is easier to put my short form videos on my UA-cam channel, maybe in the future when I get a bigger following I'll adverture out into more Instagram and TikTok, probably Instagram though since that is the media I consume most aside from UA-cam lol
I do prefer a longer format! 3k on Insta is great!
