If you haven’t already please drill some holes in the wood under your mattress to prevent moisture and mould 🤞🏼 from someone who had mould even with airflow it’s such a hassle to get rid of and you have to get a new mattress. Just trying to save all your work building the bed!

I live in a studio too and sometimes you have to go against the typical “feng shui” in order to optimize your small space. So I totally understand why you designed your bed the way you did. But I do have a suggestion that’ll help pour in as much natural light as possible from that back window without changing your orientation. What are your thoughts on styling your bed kinda like a day bed? So ditch the headboard entirely and put all of your pillows up against the wall instead. That way, you’ll have the illusion of a headboard using various pillows but it isn’t blocking that window. Hopefully that makes sense! I also suggest selling or replacing your gray chair for something smaller (or getting rid of it entirely) if you haven’t considered that already. I think that’ll open up the space more if you don’t absolutely need the extra seating. Hope this helps!!!

I love your reorganizing Vlogs. I think your home is beautiful. May I make one small suggestion? I think the picture you have on the shelf in your bathroom is too big. I think you should hang it on the wall above your toilet. Just a thought.

Love that you are finishing details that are unfinished or incomplete. All great spaces have small moments that are customized, integrated and balanced. Next, suggestion is that you consider placing something above the second print to show case the height in your room. You could find some interesting vintage or antique architectural art or even a nice warmly stained long substantial floating shelf that spans significant enough space above the second picture. In other words, it assumes enough longer space on either side of the second picture. Using the God given height in your apartment will be a game changer!!! Since you are working on capturing the best photos of your apartment, using vertical space in a decorative manner will be so interesting. I had also thought that you could take down one of the three pictures and do nice floating shelves that give you enough height. If there is enough space in between, you might still be able to use the picture but I'm guessing not. Last suggestion, think you need some actual wood pieces to add warmth although your piano obviously does that. Think thick wood floating shelves with stained wood would give more of a mature experience. Your three pics are a nice symmetrical event but sometimes doing something asymmetrical adds the whimsy and interest. If you use your vertical space even better!!! Sorry...may be giving you more ideas than is enjoyed!!! Just have fun and ignore anything you don't like!!?

Under the bookshelf you could put a basket for some extra storage, and for the door to under the bed, perhaps a magnet closure would be a good option so that the front is totally clean? Loving seeing how creative you're being with your space. I also just moved into a small space and am trying to live with it for a bit before making any big changes to try and figure out what exactly I need 😅

You could get a magnetic cabinet lock for the door part. This reminded me that I need to paint a small door...it's outside and we have snakes in Georgia so I'm not interested LOL.

All the storage the new bed is offering is incredible. We had a similar bed in my college dorms. You had to remove the mattress to open the door to the back though. So handy to tuck away a suitcase. I think you’ve really maximized the space you are working with this time around. I too don’t like having a printer on my desk so I think the shelf is in an awesome spot now. Can’t wait to see how the space works out for you. I personally don’t mind the dimmer warm lighting in the night clips. Helps translate the warm cozy vibes to the viewer. Keep up the great work! Can’t wait to see if the special spot is for a cat or Christmas tree!

Feng shui is fine when you have a house and you can control the flow. I don’t think they considered studios or small flats 😂 my bed is against the bathroom and apparently running water behind your bed is not good but I can’t put the bed anywhere else! Your bed looks tall/big but I am sure it’s cosy to sleep up there. If it works for you then who cares and you won’t live there forever anyway. Love all the redecoration btw. 😘

If you’re nervous about the energy and feng shui with your bed you can hang a feng shui Crystal to redirect the energy flow. It’s just all about the flow of energy or “qi” :)

When you didn’t want to set up the big tripod or ring light - relatable! I will literally spend longer stacking up books to reach the perfect height to sit my camera on than it would take me to set up a tripod bc the tripod for some reason feels like an ordeal. 🤣
Your apartment looks so nice! I love how you managed to create so much separation between spaces within the room. 😊

I wish SOOO bad we lived near eachother(I’m in Houston). I’m only 27 but I’ve been “professionally” organizing small spaces and closets for friends/ family/ neighbors for YEARS…for free.. it’s be passion. I would just die to go to your apartment and organize this sh*t out of everything 🤣 if you were closer I’d be there in a heartbeat for free and your whole apartment would be perfect. You have a amazing space to work in !!

I love the bed! I think it’s beautiful! It’s just a shame that you don’t have an alcove or something to section off the bed from the rest of the living area since it is so grand! As for the rest of the space, it is cozy, but be careful about having too many pieces of furniture in there, because it tends to not make it to the space look as open. Especially with studios, you want to maximize but not clutterize. Lol

Please please please continue to declutter and reorganize. You have too much stuff. Too much furniture. I do understand that you have a small apartment but you can do better. I wish there was nothing to the right of your desk. Furniture to consider removing: the high table to the right of your fireplace. Do you really use it? Console behind your sofa. Declutter the fireplace mantle. Move the arm chair. Your space needs to breathe more.

I think it was a great idea for a small apartment with inadequate storage. Ideally, a great carpenter would've made it from scratch. But who has the money to hire someone like that to do a custom piece? I think they did fine with what they had. As someone who owns an actual house which is old but not sophisticated and spiffy, living without lots of closets is basically hell lol.

I think you got too much furniture. I get you need it probably but it's too much for such a space. I feel like every wall space is covered. Which makes it unesthetic
