The Devil will find work for idle hands to do ... so what happens when he chooses the laziest teen slacker in the world to do his dirty work?
Anton Tobias (Devon Sawa, Final Destination) is a channel-surfing, junk-food-munching, couch-potato burn-out who can't control the murderous impulses of his recently possessed hand. With the help of his zombiefied buddies, Mick (Seth Green, Austin Powers: International Man Of Mystery) and Pnub (Elden Henson, Daredevil), Anton's got to stop the rampaging devil appendage before it takes total control of his life and ruins any chance he has with class hottie Molly (Jessica Alba, Dark Angel). Vivica A. Fox (Kill Bill) and Jack Noseworthy (Event Horizon) co-star in this wickedly funny horror comedy.

God I absolutely love this movie. The guy who voiced over the trailer had a pretty chill voice that reminds me of commercials that’d play on adult swim. I wish there was more movies that were like this now

I finally recently watched this movie and it was so weird seeing Elden Henson play such a different role than Fulton Reed, but he did amazingly along with Seth Green and Devon Sawa

@@SorchyMusic lol I’m 27 right now. I remember my dad bought this movie at this one local movie rental place (closed down more than a decade ago). I wasn’t supposed to watch it. I was in kindergarten lol. I only remember some scenes. Like him chopping off his hand. Stabbing his friend in the head with a bottle. And a scene with a fan that spins and cuts somebody. It was a scary movie to me 🤣🤣

I’m going through the exact same thing the protagonist goes through in this film, and I’m not even joking. This movie was equal parts funny and scary to me as a kid. I never thought it would actually happen to me though at age 30, and still be happening almost 9 months later at age 31.

Why can't they make a IDLE hands 2 with the same characters?
I mean it didn’t do well at the box office especially since it was released the same month as Columbine High School shooting happened in Colorado. Plus due to reshoots happened to changed the original ending of the film and delayed the movie by one year.

They reshot the ending because the original ending dropped all the comedy and made the movie uneven.
