Wright Patterson AFB museum. I think it's the biggest in the US. Huge Rockets and old bombers, jets, a whole day to see it for sure. It's near Dayton.

Welcome to Ohio. It's Pro Football Hall of Fame weekend coming up. Many activities in the Canton area related to that. Also, look up Maize Valley brewery in Hartville as a great Harvest Host. Highly recommend a stop over in the Hocking Hills area and eating at the very pup friendly Eclipse Company Store outside Athens. Cheers!

Awww! Welcome to Ohio! I’d suggest Hocking Hills State Park, it’s absolutely beautiful and you’ll be stunned that it’s in Ohio! Also Amish Country in Holmes County, Ohio! The rolling hills and lush greenery and of course the delicious foods! ❤

I am from ohio. Depending on where in ohio you are based there are alot great state park. Clinton mills and John Byron state park and eat in the small 60s style town off, yellow springs.
Also Hocking Hill state park is a must see. Both about an hour from Columbus. Many more but those two are tops for natural beauty.

Enjoy Ohio, and your contract, My Brother-in-law went to med school in Cincinnati, and did his Residency in Lancaster (not far from Columbus) Definitely get to Hocking Hills State Park. Fantastic stop. also Cincinnati has done a ton of revitalizing, the down town is pretty nice, you gota walk the Purple People Bridge. and take a Day and shop at Jungle Jim's its a Grocery store, they have a few locations, but the original by Cincinnati is like 6 acres, and they have just about anything from everywhere food wise. I mean Ostrich eggs and Meat, Rattle Snake, if its weird, exotic or ethnic, they have it.

The Salt Fork State Park area is one of the country’s Bigfoot hotspots - so you *have* to go there! 😂 Ohio has one of the best state park/campground systems in the country. Welcome to the quietly interesting and beautiful Buckeye State!

  • @jdollar5852

Solar gives you some good options. You have way "too much" battery capacity for those little panels. Or maybe "too little" solar capacity? Those batteries should easily handle all your lights, tvs etc for an extended time. AC and heat? Not so much. You chose a good system with Renogy and I like that you went with a 3k inverter and nice charge controller so you can ramp up as needed. I don't have any solar in my camper because we don't do any boondocking and almost always camp in wooded campgrounds in rhe Southeast where getting OUT of the sun is our main objective.
Good luck on that new contract!

We never go to Pilot/Flying J, they dont participate in the TSD program, the discounts from TSD are Way better in most cases, like 40 cents to $1.50/ gallon. But good info about the app in a pinch.

It's easy to obsess over Khali, I mean it's her show after all, right?
Glad the power system is working out for you! We picked up a Jackery Explorer 1000 with a pair of solar panels to run the fridge we just put in our van and things are going ok so far, though we're still just garage testing everything right now. We're hoping to take 'er out for an overnight at the state park or a day trip to the lake sometime soon. I don't remember how much I've shared recently, but we figured we'd go the "easy" route of a premade system since we're camping out of a minivan for now, so simple and compact is critical. Finances are kinda limited, so we're picking up what we can as we can afford it. The fridge and power system were sort of a combination of Father's Day and birthday splurge. I bet the fans allow you guys to relax a little easier when Khali stays home by herself now.

Good luck with your new contract!! We also prefer Flying J for fuel stops. We like the RV pumps and the fact we don't feel like we are in the way of the truck drivers trying to earn a living. Plus the diesel pump in the RV lanes doesn't have that huge oversized nozzle like the truck lanes.
