Weeks ago, we told you that we had been staying in Ohio and we decided to ask you all where we should go. One name that continued to come up was Hocking Hills State Park. A weekend away from our current spot sounded perfect, so we decided to take the short trip and check it out!
The campground was crowded, but perfect. We definitely think this park is worth adding to your RV bucket list! And the first morning hike to Old Man's Cave was awesome!
A few tips if you want to check it out:
1. Go early
2. Take your pup (To most trails)
3. Follow the one-way signs
4. Have fun!!

Yes! It does remind me of Turkey Run which has become one of our favorite stops on our route from Colorado to a Michigan (and back) after you recommended it.
Aw that's so cool that you stop there now!! We think Turkey Run is amazing and Hocking Hills reminded us of it a lot - but maybe even better!

Glad you liked hocking hill, we in ohio real love the hole are. Great for hiking and water sports. Next check out the clifton mills area by John Byron state park. But really it does not get muck better than the Logan area. With hocking hill and the river adventure.

At 4:32 . In August 2 years ago there were a dozen kids swimming in the water in parents on lawn chairs in the sand where you're standing.

We just stayed there for a week back in june and it was a beautiful area, we were in full hookup in the back by the water tower
A whole week would be incredible! That's the area we ended up in too, we felt like it was the best part of the park 😊
@@lifererouted yeah we rode our bikes back in the other section and we were shocked how far it went back, that campground was huge
While in Ohio you must try some of the famous breweries! Fat Heads Head Hunter IPA just won best IPA in the world! There are many other great breweries too!
We've been to a few so far, but I'm never gonna say no to a new brewery! 😆 Thanks!
The old Lodge caught on fire and they built the new one also there is a restaurant called Old Dutch that's really good and also a fire Tower in the area that you can climb
