The glad has multiple ways of starting a death combo, meaning if you get first strike to cancel it and force them to step back, they have almost no way to strike back. There is a better out of stamina punish for kensei. If you push forward and then side heavy and then top light you get more damage for a little more stamina
Idk why people tell you the kensei max punish is inconsistent but literally just gb throw into light then spam the shit out of top heavy until it goes through. I havent had it fail on me once and its more damage so you might as well do it.
