Dean Dublois was really setting everyone up for an emotional rollercoaster throughout all 3 movies. I've been a huge fan of httyd since 2010 and it really is the perfect trilogy.

Star Wars introduced it as a bit funny. This movie is one of the few that reminded us of its dark side.

If it makes you feel better, Blue, I absolutely cried like a baby when I first saw this. It’s one of the saddest moments in animated movie history.

yeah "Alpha" is not a specie but rather a title as shown when Toothless takes over. The Bewilderbeast just was naturally an alpha because they were not only huge, but had the ability to control other dragons' minds. Toothless can't control their minds but he has earned the other dragons' respect and proved himself a worthy Alpha. A lot of people get confused thinking that once T becomes "alpha" that he can then control the other dragons like a Bewilderbeast and so I just wanted to help clarify.
Also can not wait for Blue's reaction to the third movie!

The Training movie series is one of the rare series where each movie is a gem.......
Since Blue likes dragons, I'd like to see her do Dragonheart..
Also I'd recommend the foreign movie called "I am Dragon", really good in my opinion

Astrid and hiccup are absolute couple goals. I strive to find what they have.

one of the saddest things about Toothless killing Stoik is that he already was about to in the first movie,before Hic stopped him,so it's almost like it was bound to happen,Toothless finished what he started 5 years prior,even tho not meaning to

Blue, if you just need to feel better then consider "The Time Traveler's Wife" I saw it for the first time this year. I've been aware of it and just never bothered. I could kick myself. Its a love story only possible in fiction. I'm almost positive you'll love it.

Toothles has either fire or plasma based breath weapons. Plasma Based are for targets to be destroyed. Plasma is super heated gas , heated to the point that it takes on the plasma designation... SUN HOT!!!!!!

There are many cat characteristics about Toothless as well as many Dog characteristics. This is just another dog one. Doesn't matter the size of the dog in the fight but the fight in the dog and no dog got more fight then Toothless, especially when it comes to the safety of Hiccup
He's grown up and good-looking and handsome

I enjoyed this sequel A LOT, but the story line with the mother is a big issue.
To understand everything through How to Train Your Dragon you need to watch the series you need to watch dragons Riders of Berk & Dragons Protectors of Berk and then watch dragons race to the edge seasons 1 through 6 that will give you the better understanding between the first movie and

In the past, dragons found Gobber very tasty (notice the missing parts of him), He may have lost other parts which are kind of necessary for a good marriage.
While this is an interesting theory and as far as I know there's nothing to prove it right or wrong - the actual meaning behind that line is that Gobber is gay :)

@@MrBigPicture835 Dood, calm down. Fire Dragon wasn't saying that he wasn't allowed to marry because of a religious restriction in the movie. I know it's hard to believe, but this animated movie about humans living alongside dragons is fantasy and isn't real. That line was a wink to the viewers to hint at Gobber being gay, and that in this world it was a "reason" for him not marrying. But even in their world, maybe it was still a reason for him not marrying because there weren't any other gay man on Berk for him to get married to, therefore being a valid reason still. Regardless, it's just a fun movie. No reason to get so defensive about an offhand remark mean for the audience.

Grow up. If Blue prefers monster movies and animated films, then of course those are the ones she should watch. Movies that _you_ consider great aren't necessarily going to be the ones that everyone else considers great. Everyone has their own tastes.
