Beautiful bike... Not bored at all... I don't go for the usual YT wiz-bang nonsense. Keep up the good work. Cheers from Iowa

They always require many test runs to sort out minor problems. She'll be reliable soon enough.

You are right, it sometimes takes a while for all the issues to present them selves.

You could work on Nortons every video and I wouldn't wander off. Thanks for your efforts. Greetings from Chicago.

      Everyone should have a lathe.

Those old English motorcycles were leking from the factory! Don’t expect them not to leak, it’s the way they were made!

The usual porosity of an old British bike is not a problem, this thing however is completely incontinent.

    Naughty Norton .
Teething troubles always take time . But it's looking good . Tin primary covers are a PITA . Bash with a mallet and carry on .
Bubble gum on petrol tank leak for now ? Will ruin the flavour no doubt .
    Needs must though .
    👍

I wonder which flavour is the most resistant to ethanol?

It could well be, the bike is a bit of a bitsa.

I wondered about that as the photos i have of a model 50 in the slimline frame shows a hole in the gap between oil tank and battery box with quite a large ( 1and half inch ) gap to the carb mouth. Also had to question the front engine plates they look like they would fit a larger diam crankcase. Just hope that you can get those engine works done and get some good riding on it. Best of luck .

Norton did go back to a mag on some models. Possibly the 600ss. I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.
