Why not giving the front brake calipers something better than Advigs on the SP? Other than that it's still such a beast of a bike

@@RacingRoman44 Truth. I only changed pads on my 2017 FZ-10, made a world of difference.
im not too sure but i think it has r1 internals like different piston materials than standard mt10
Why are the 22’s being introduced when it should be the 23’s?
We're in 2022. Any bike registered this side of the year will have a 72 plate.
This could be the one for me next year. Looking forward to hearing the reviews.

I would buy an MT07 SP with Ohlins front and rear and radial master, Brembo brakes. It would also help if any dealer actually had any of these SP bikes in stock to buy.

No review seams to mention it,
BUT sadly the latest generation doesn't have any mounting points for hardcases anymore. The subframe as well as the passenger footpegs don't feature any threats to mount some hardware to. So no more sport touring modded MT-10 builds based on the new platform.
I'll be looking for the edgy, trasformer looking predisessor MT-10 SP instead. I value that luggage options more then the 6-axis-IMU for daily commuting. (german Autobahn)
Hoping we could get MT-07 with SP version.

The headlight should be lowered.
yes, terrible front end imo. Zero thought on lines & symmetry. Front brake lines/dampener/horn all exposed. Plus only one headlight lit up for day-light running lights.

What a great bike. Sadly, yamaha india keeps pressing the snooze button on their big bike segment as always. This would literally be perfect, if they manage the right price.
New 2022 model still has the wooden brake feel, was really looking for review on sp version and whether the steel braided brake line makes any difference to the braking performance.
It's definitely an improvement over the gen 1 MT10. I don't feel the need to change the master cylinder or the calipers but will probably still throw a set of pads at it.
Ffs a change of pads will sort it same as the last gen.
why did you guys remove the side trim. It looks unfinished and cheap like this

Can you answer me a question why Yamaha is ignoring a serious TPS/Throttle body issue on 21 MT-09? My bike has been broken and dealership can't fix it, while at the same time loads of people reporting the same issue. It's dangerous because it can stall an engine at any time! I'm running out of options to get it sorted and the bike is only 1 year old and still on warranty! And what's worse is that Yamaha chose to ignore it completely. Are you waiting until someone will die?
There is a ECU-update available too sort that out
@@PERLaLIFE recall is not fixing the issue unfortunately. Mine developed all those problems after the recall update.
@@povilaslondon put 11,000mi on my 22' MT09SP and it has 0 problems.

RIP yamaha R25/R3, old design, no fitur, no technology, no improvement, no inovation, lowest acceleration and lowest speed than Kawasaki Honda on 250cc/300cc segment. We (bikers) should crying in delers when look R25/R3 in there. Yamaha may change the slogan on 250cc/300cc class from "Yamaha Semakin Di Depan" to "Yamaha Semakin Di Belakang"
