I would buy an MT07 SP with Ohlins front and rear and radial master, Brembo brakes. It would also help if any dealer actually had any of these SP bikes in stock to buy.
It's curious that Chad says that it doesn't matter what weight you are (meaning the suspension just deals with it) but the Ohlins shock appears to have manual preload 6:13
New 2022 model still has the wooden brake feel, was really looking for review on sp version and whether the steel braided brake line makes any difference to the braking performance.
It's definitely an improvement over the gen 1 MT10. I don't feel the need to change the master cylinder or the calipers but will probably still throw a set of pads at it.

The subframe as well as the passenger footpegs don't feature any threats to mount some hardware to. So no more sport touring modded MT-10 builds based on the new platform. I'll be looking for the edgy, trasformer looking predisessor MT-10 SP instead. I value that luggage options more then the 6-axis-IMU for daily commuting. (german Autobahn)

My bike has been broken and dealership can't fix it, while at the same time loads of people reporting the same issue. It's dangerous because it can stall an engine at any time! I'm running out of options to get it sorted and the bike is only 1 year old and still on warranty! And what's worse is that Yamaha chose to ignore it completely. Are you waiting until someone will die?

There is a ECU-update available too sort that out
@@PERLaLIFE recall is not fixing the issue unfortunately. Mine developed all those problems after the recall update.
