Good luck and continued sucess, that was the worst stage for me, its so gross omg. I survived on ricotta bakes, cream of wheat and greek yogurt. The thought of puree gives me the ICK!!
@roxirosie841 the only meat I puree was ground turkey and sauce to make the ricotta bake, I ate applesauce, cream of wheat, mashed sweet potatoes, Tuna salad with light mayo, scrambled eggs, mashed banana, and strained soup. Hopefully it goes by fast for you. This stage is so gross to me so I kept eating the same thing along with my protein shakes.
No problem! Thanks for watching! I hope recovery is going well for you. This blender is the updated version of mine: Ninja Professional Plus Kitchen amzn.to/4fuJhzd
Now the chili I can do blended, I don’t know about my chicken and pork chops. 😂😂😂 thanks for sharing, I’ve been following your process as I prepare for surgery on 8/15/24
Thanks so much for watching! The blended chili was by far the best meal! The chicken breast didn’t do it for me at all lol! 😂 The pork chop was decent. I plan to do fish this upcoming week since I don’t have to purée that
@@TricesTastyEats definitely would be. You’d have my business !! I’m doing good so far I was just afraid of the purée foods coming up I didn’t know if I could do mashed potatoes because of carbs I’m just all over the place with this, I officially start Wednesday so I’m definitely using a lot of your ideas this helped a lot. When you started the puréed foods did you still have to do sips every 3-4 mins or could you drink like regular
I was 2 weeks post-op on Monday for gastric bypass. I'm reading so much mixed information regarding what is ok to eat and what is not that it's scaring me to transition into pureed foods. I'm really struggling here.
@@mjt333 same !!! I just had my 2 weeks class today and they told us to stay away from starchy stuff like mashed potatoes because it makes you full faster to where your not getting all of your protein and calories chilli is fine without beans she did say everyone tries the ricotta cheese and tomatoe sauce baked. that classes helped me a lot with what we can and can not eat
@blackdiamondz2174 Great information! I was going to try beans, but lentils gave me gas, so I think beans would do the same. I appreciate you sharing what you learned. Thank you!
I cooked one piece of protein (example: 1 chicken breast and 1 pork chop) and then just measured out the cooked portion. I think I measured it before blending and then measured it again. I didn’t blend the whole chicken breast or pork chop, so I froze whatever was left in whole pieces. Does that make sense?
Probably better to use fresh veggies, unprocessed soup and country fresh chicken . Post bariatric, lets keep our choices from farmshops than supermarkets.

Thank you for this! I’m trying to figure out what else I can eat that won’t upset my stomach 😢

Thank you!!! I’m trying to make the best of the purée stage, but I definitely can’t wait for it to be over 🤣🤣🤣
@roxierosie841 thanks so much for watching. I’m sorry your stomach has been upset. What foods have you tried so far?

I’m doing the same following her process. We almost surgery twins, my surgery date is 8/13

Thanks so much for watching!!!
I would definitely pay for a meal prep so you could send me all of these everything looks so good ! I’ll be in week 2 Wednesday
Lol 😂 thanks so much! That’s actually a really good business idea 🤔.
How’s your journey going so far?

Hey did you blend your eggs or just ate them scrambled?
Hey! I just ate them scrambled. I didn’t have to blend eggs or fish
That chili looked so good. I was told absolutely no hot/spicy..im over hete pouting about it!!
Thank you! That hot sauce definitely set it off! Hopefully, you’ll get to eat spicy food soon!
How do you measure the proteins in the puree meals. What size are the containers you used in your video?
I cooked one piece of protein (example: 1 chicken breast and 1 pork chop) and then just measured out the cooked portion. I think I measured it before blending and then measured it again. I didn’t blend the whole chicken breast or pork chop, so I froze whatever was left in whole pieces. Does that make sense?
The containers hold 3oz.
So good
Thanks so much!
Where did you your cups from
Amazon! I’ll try to find the links.

Im on puree now and its really hard for me to. The puree meat i just cant do it
I totally understand! It’s definitely a mind shift. You can do this!
How many egg whites can we eat at once?
My body didn’t respond well to eggs after surgery. During the puree stage, I would start with half of an egg.
How long on puréed diet?
Two weeks
Wow, most of these ingredients are not allowed on my pureed stage! I'm glad I didn't go with your post op team. You may get ulcers etc.. 😮
Thanks for watching. Everyone’s journey is different.

Thanks for your feedback! I try to buy fresh veggies when I can. Farm fresh items are not always available in some areas.
