Totally agree. I have 2 helmets, one with a Cardo Packtalk Edge and another with the Sena 50S so I can ride in both worlds. The Sena is much simpler to initiate mesh.
Please add this feature to the packtalk Bold aswell!

You probably won't get it in the Packtalk Bold, it's an old model based on Bluetooth 4.1
It’s hard to believe you’re committed to compatibility but at this rate even if you finally do make mesh compatible it will be a non issue and we will all have Starlink modules in our phones that allow us to use our phone and regular headset for comms from any distance
I recently bought a Cardo Packtalk Pro and the connection with Senas SRL and SRL Mesh became a real nightmare. We could not get the 3 of us connected without very bad quality and interruptions in any configuration (even trying every intercom acting as the bridge for the others). Simply a shame that Sena and Cardo are not willing to look for their customers but only for their position in the market to build its own standard. This strategy will eventually drive people felt scammed and going for other brands. I'm sure my next intercom will not be either Cardo or Sena.
Dude he'll yeah. Does this work through Sena's Mesh? I have had a packtalk edge for just under a year and love it, but has been a pain trying to find out how to get the whole group of cardos and senas to talk in a big mesh group... much less a single other rider.
Can you pair with Bluetooth to Sena and at the same time be paired in mesh with other Cardo units? For example you have 4 people using Cardo mesh, and one using the Sena Bluetooth ?
yes. Cardo have bluetooth gatweay mode for that. Maybe they should make a video showing how to use it.
Thought you only need press the front button to turn on the edge?
we need a cardo with built in camera system that can be front mounted, side helmet mount camera's look horrible. Make magic for us Cardo!
I have friends that have a Cardo Packtalk and I have a Sena Outrush R helmet that has intercom but I don't what model it would be. Do you know if and how we can connect our units together. We have a 10,000 mile ride planned next season and tried to connect this year and could not get them to pair up. Thank you
are cardo edge can be connect to multiple senas ? for example 4 senas + 1 edge ?
I was told while this works, the Senna cannot bridge the Cardo into a Sena mesh group. They said the Sena beeps a warning.
Thanks for the video but can you pair the Cardo Edge with 2 sena units so that you can have a 3 way conversation?

How long can you leave your pack talk edge on charge without damaging it. Regards Robert

This was what you should have done AGES AGO. Youre now correcting a years old problem that has already been replaced by a new problem. Your loyal biggest spending customers aren’t neeeing Bluetooth compatibility in this way anymore that was 10 years ago WE NEED MESH COMPATIBILITY.
Find a way to make it work before the governments or standards bodies force you. If they fail to do so, ppl will certainly continue switching to phone based solutions, understandably…with a backup walkie talkie in poor coverage regions.
Theres even new products being made to make this easier, my headset source splicer cable with auto source switching to whatever source has activity is a great example. Allows simple use of both radio + phone based cellular comms.

I have a Schuberth C4 pro helmet with integrated Sc1 Advanced intercom. It struggles to connect to Cardo Edge. Can you share a video that is specific to this integrated helmet intercom with Cardo edge?
Does your sc1 has voice technology? Im thinking of buying one. Would you recommend?
Yes it does and I do recommend it as it is integrated and balanced within the helmet, but you must also consider if there might be any connectivity issues with your friends as it is a Sena intercom and not a Cardo.
What voice prompts are available? Do you know if it can be paired with sc2 from schuberth c5 helmets? Mi dad owns one and I want to make sure we can connect
Usually, companies build in connectivity with earlier versions but I have no experience re sc2. Manual for sc1a voice commands etc can be viewed here: oem.sena.com/schuberth/documents/UsersGuide_SC1_2.0.0_en_190308.pdf

I’m using a smart phone + cellular connection & discord group audio until you make some version of your mesh universal.
There’s no excuse. There’s a literal Bluetooth mesh standard that yours is based off of. You used the Standard against your own customers for financial gain.
I’ve complained to the Bluetooth Special interest Grouo and in 🇬🇧 & in EU my partner is filing complaints & investigating if any laws have been broken in the meantime requesting laws that mandate compatibility for Bluetooth based communications devices.
You should’ve done it years earlier and nobody would have bothered you, your being greedy at this point.
Until you do the right thing, I will never buy another headset from either company, it’s a simple as that … unfortunately legally I can’t tell you the group I am in charge of making purchases for, but you will have noticed a reduction in orders from corporate accounts recently, and that would be those companies we advise.

If they can't even figure out how to share music on the "mesh network" without using bluetooth crap, there's no chance in hell they can get it to work with Sena's mesh system.
Year 2023 and still using outdated shit like Bluetooth... sad
