Add public channel mesh would be great 🔥🔥🔥
NOTED! Thanks for the feedback!
I strongly agree
Yeah, this would be great so would making their mesh compatible with Sena, until they do that and stop playing these artificially restricted games I’m not buying another headset from either of those companies. I’ll stick with discord and Bluetooth headset.
I vote for this feature too. Cardo in my point of view is the better brand, sadly near all drivers i Met are on SENA. It is good to see that you did the first Step to bridge this Gap. So fingers crossed we have a real open Mesh with Sena and Cardo in the future.
@@MarissaTheMuse Thats a good idea to use discord.. do you just use the mobile app and have every one your with join a server?
Thank-you for this first stage. It's a start. The holy grail is cross-vendor mesh compatibility. Please work on that.
Sorry, I was not right. It is working as shown in the Video with a Packtalk Black. I just needed to confirm the Universal Pairing with my Sena 50S (extra button on Version 2.4) and than it worked like a charm!! I was also able to set myself into Bridge mode.
Cardo Packtalk was always been able to bluetooth connect to 'non' cardo units, the likes of Fodsports, even Jabra ear pieces.
It was Sena that made it difficult. Were Cardo able to find a Hack?
I'd like to see universal pairing for garmin and tomtom gps units. Everyone can't afford a $600 dedicated MC gps
great feedback!
This is a great feature but how is it that Cardo can be so innovative but is stubborn. Back when I purchased my first intercom Cardo had great feature of amplifying the outside noise but could connect only with Cardo units. Interphone was the first out of the three to enable open Bluetooth connections. Now Sena and Interphone can talk through mesh with each other.
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!
SO WELCOME ! Happy it was helpful!
This is a helpful feature, thanks.
With this connection, can I normally listen to music and navigation messages in my Cardo Edge?
Bump.. I too have the same question..
So only bluetooth and no mesh Connection between cardo and sena?
Correct. But you can link the two mesh via groups a bluetooth bridge.
Great! Now i have few questions.
1) will it reconnect? Or do i have each time initiate connection after going to far away?
2) how far from each other we kan go and still have decent connection?
Just tried with Sena 50s. It worked 1/4 mile or leas before got disconnected.
@@teesnob and is it reconnecting itself or do you have to do it yourself?
You have to reconnect each time.
@@teesnob Unless you put the Sena on a pillion.
We have Packtalk in our group but we also have Commphobic riders. Our tail end has two units, I suggested next time slip the spare in his pocket as a relay point so front rear can still talk.
Os habéis olvidado de las actualizaciones del packtalk bold?
I believe previous generations don't have enough hardware resources to manage this kind of feature.
@@Intercom_e_CiaHave an original Packtalk pre bold. Connected via Bluetooth to a Sena 20s. Although Sena made it hard as it would only use phone pairing mode.
What's the range on Bluetooth mode like this, rather than dmc mode
@cardo systems
Is this a firmware update for those of us who already own a Cardo PackTalk or is it only available on new Cardo units?
It's for older units as well like the spirit HD and freecom unit ... be sure to check out the other videos we are posting and stay tuned for the series!
ok, I subbed..........make me choose yer product
They don’t ever actually do the giveaways. Dont waste your time. They’ve got a scummy social media management company.
Can you please explain what EXACTLY you are doing on each device. Just saying ‘connect as normal’ isn’t especially helpful. Actually worse than helpful as I watched an official video that didn’t help and wasted my time. Back to seeking help from people that do explain each ‘Noddy’ step.
Just use the cardo and Sena Bluetooth connection sequence, like normal. There's nothing tricky or special required.
Unlike the old days when a Sena would only allow a non Sena to connect through one of its Phone bluetooth channels. My friend had a 20s and had to pair my Packtalk bluetooth in to his phone channel, yet the cardo would connect to any other bluetooth comm unit in ordinary bluetooth mode.
