Finally a speed run of this thing
I didn't quite get it to 60 miles an hour but I think with a bit beefier battery and a little bit more room it's completely attainable. Thanks for watching and if you aren't already subscribed so is appreciated :-)
Was the speed pinion used and/or 3s?
3S on the stock pinion
I’m thinking a slightly taller tire, droop screws, and no wing (or tailwind) would do it
Honestly it's possible that even running a better battery and just having a longer area to run would get it to 60 or above. My speed run was definitely not in ideal conditions.

Along with the battery side plate center screw issue (the other one had this issue) this one appears to have that as well. Are you having any issues with your slipper clutch input cup where the set screw and dog bone or drive shaft pin strikes the battery when secured?
I haven't yet and looking at it it appears as though the battery tray should just barely prevent that from happening. If the center drive shaft cross pin is hitting it's probably misaligned. Those cross pins are held in with set screws not pressed in so if that set screw came loose The pin could definitely hit the battery.

Im glad they got ride if the transmitter..the old ones were not good..if this has decent range..and no cogging...then i might get it.
No cogging that I've seen and enough range for anything I would want to do.
The receiver looks like a DumboRc receiver. Wonder if it's compatible?
Just tested it and I was not able to bind it with Dumbo RC or radio link. Receivers all look identical but unfortunately they're not compatible.
Love the case. Looks speedy too. Nice save at 4:23! I woulda run into that car for sure.
Yeah that was totally my fault. I did not look left before starting the run. I can hear cars coming around the corner but didn't expect that neighbor to come out of their driveway. Definitely need to be more cognizant in the future.

@@QuinnsRC Yeah she's a handful of those speeds. Not as bad as I would expect though. It gets squirrely but is pretty easy to reign back in. Fun stuff :-)

Yeah I never really had much of a problem with the old one but I'm also not that picky. The new one does seem better
Do you need to buy a charger separately for this?
It comes with a little USB charger but I would definitely recommend getting something better.

I have an old Gen's Ace 3S 2200 that I ran in mine. It fit but I'm not even sure they're available anymore.
The front shock tower is weak. This is why it is so cheap.
That hasn't been my experience and I haven't really seen other people break theirs either. What kind of crash did you break yours in?
