Netflix needs to do a series about Jonna Mendez. They already have a great name in Moscow Rules. Jonna is one of the most intelligent, capable, engaging and accomplished women in the world.

Yes I thought the same, why is there not a movie about her & her life? Would be awesome they need to approach her for a film.

In these interviews there is always talk of how “Hollywood Technology” was used by the CIA. John Chambers was a celebrated “Hollywood Makeup Artist” who was also a disguise consultant for the CIA. John Chambers built his career around the use of latex cast into plaster molds ( as well as aluminum molds and vinyl). The materials that John had access to were “State of the Art” for their time. His materials were also opaque and tended to look like a painted rubber castings (rather like a Halloween mask). I would like to hear some mention of the medical community ( by way of the people who develop medical prosthetics such as ears and noses for cancer patients). These medical artists and crafts people ( known as “Anaplastologists”) truly pushed the envelope in terms of what the CIA disguise program became capable of. The medical prosthetic technicians introduced the use of silicone (which was translucent and could be colored intrinsically to look like skin ). The medical community also used modern epoxy and fiberglass molds that were far more durable and practical than anything made from dental plaster or aluminum. The development of the “Disguise Mask” was an effort that went far beyond what “Hollywood” was capable of in the early 1980’s . High Technology along with the use of World Class artistic ability was being developed for the CIA by research centers such as Battelle as well as the Franklin Research Center in Pennsylvania. Very sophisticated stuff compared to what was going on in Hollywood.

Is that Bill Burns in the first row?

A question I’d ask besides why do people always use Bill for a story, have you ever used a disguise or disguise techniques in everyday life outside of the CIA?

So what happened to her first husband?

An amicable divorce after it'd run its course. That's what I got from the Washington Post article.
