Excellent drone footage of the actual work you're doing! It is endlessly fascinating seeing how folks in different geographic locations deal with their unique environmental conditions. Keep up the great work.
My best regards to you for not only your actual job but also this broadcast-quality documentary you've created to capture it. The editing is particularly brilliant.
That blower is an absolute monster! It's good to see old equipment still out and working hard. I've always been fascinated by the railway blowers and older models such as this. The 3 seat configuration is amazing.
Yes very good, could almost been used as instruction video for snoblowers. The m/77 is a awesome machine but of course more economy when the overaasen camt to be carried with a wheel loader instead the m/77 was at rest 6-8 months a year. But a very nice and well done video,
G'day mate. You seem to have done very well for yourself. Being a bright, smart and seemingly intelligent young man. Anyone who has the drive to go and get work and the ability to do the work is a very talented person be it male or female. Nothing seems to hold you back, nothing is a challange, you have been gifted with the ability to do anything at all with your hands and your mind. Your parents must be extremely proud.
Dear Mr. Bjoernstroem. 👍👌👏 Extremely impressive (man, machines, video). Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards, luck and health in particular.
I worked for the highway department on the willamette pass in the cascade mountains blowing and plowing snow for 32 years. We would average 40 feet of snow a winter and 30 years ago i ran a blower like this that was called a snow go. No power steering ,a heater that didnt work very well and was the roughest riding noisey machine ive ever operated in the 32 years of running snow removal equipment. The last machine i ran was called a norland snow blower from Norway. Amazing machine that was all air ride, power everything and even had a great stereo in it. I told the younger guys that they have no idea how easy they have it now compared to what we had 30 years ago.
I have seen what a fleet of those snowblowers does to an airfield that needs to be opened in a snowstorm. I have also seen what they can do to runway lights, garbafe cans, bicyckes and other things hiding in the snow... It was a military sniwblower, made by Scania, mostly from off the shelf parts, the steeringwheels are for a SAAB 99
Absolutely impressive video Matthias! You video skills match your equipment skills and the whole thing was very informative and entertaining at the same time. Also that '77 looks very well engineered and extremely well maintained, I would never have guessed it's that old. Thank you for letting us take part in your interesting work!
greetings from sunny Florida where people think 40 degrees is cold, being from new Jersey USA I laugh every time, great workout that was, nice machines too.
I enjoy your content mate, from an aviation perspective - really awesome to see a grassroots perspective of winter ops maintenance. Winter for us is avoiding any grass, too muddy.
Yeah, that's some next level Saab-Scania fusion jazz over there.. When I was a kid we had a brown Saab 96 with the exact same kind of steering wheel, minus the urakkanuppi of course.
Great footage, Great job and your English is fine. I enjoyed watching from the comfort of my computer chair in my warm house here in Branford Florida next to the Suwannee River LOL. It is 62 degrees here and it's cold to me. Thanks for your video, Great job!
Love those old military snow blowers and it looks to be in great condition! Also really like Volvos wheel loaders, especially with spakstyrning! Job very well done! :)
I love that you can do all of that without touching the steering wheel on the loader, so cool! Never driven a loader that new, but Volvo has been my favorite loader to drive, and most comfortable truck
Your explanation of why you had to adjust the antenna made perfect sense. You're getting mild weather compared to here. It's -19 C here in Ottawa, Canada at 8 a.m. local time.
Pretty sure that's a Rolba Snowblast blower head. Our city works department had one of those mounted on a Yale/Trojan 304 rear-steer loader powered by a 4-53 (I think) Detroit diesel. The loader had a 6V71 powering it..
Nice video :) kul att få se så mycket maskinkörning och även slunga 77 Jobba :) Om du har möjlighet någongång hade det varit kul att se mer röjning därifrån :)
Hey Matthias, really interesting video, your work scope is so broad and interesting. I’ve only just subscribed but have been watching other of your videos and it’s seems you wear many hats. I can’t even begin to imagine life so close to the artic circl, I live on the Gold Coast of Queensland in australia
Pajala airport? All those people who said they are getting A.Camarata vibes are crazy. You have mechanical sympathy and knowledge, not at all like Andrew. No one in their right mind would let Andrew anywhere near airport equipment. Can’t wait to see your next build.
Come on man, stop being weird. Both of them provide great content to watch and it's not nice to try to belittle and compare people like this and try to paint all of this as some kind of weird ass rivalry
OUTSTANDING Job 👍👍👍👍.... Can't the antenna base be marked?? That way there is a exact setting position to reference too. The snowblower is a wonderful piece of equipment and in perfect condition. Saying... A wonderful day for y'all from the Republic of Texas, USA
I was stationed at Plattsburgh AFB in northern New York in the mid to late 70's. Every time it snowed, FIRST PRIOROTY: Clear the run ways. SECOND PRIORITY: Clear the runways. THIRD PRIORITY: Clear the runways. Well, they would push the snow until they couldn't push it any further. My first winter there, I asked why they didn't contact NY DOT and find out where they bought their snowblowers that were mounted on the front of dump trucks instead of plows. And in typical military fashion, they said they would be too expensive. OK, you have 10's of millions of dollars of aircraft sitting there and you waste so much time trying to push snow around instead of spending $2 or $3 hundred thousand dollars (if that much, they already had the dump trucks) for 3 or 4 snow blowers and clear the runways in no time, reducing the stress on the wing commander (mission readiness and all that rot). They never did follow my suggestions and continued to have fits every time it snowed. I was a medic so it didn't matter to me if the runways were cleared quickly or not.

1:53 Ok I had no idea you could steer these without the steering wheel and manage the front at the same time! But I guess this is a very modern version, but still and its so cool.
For a 46 year old truck, Blower-77 is a beast.
It sure is!
@@M.BJOERNSTROEM the only thing that can beat this system is the syntrac snowblower they have in austria :)
