Manticore! At the end of the day Manticore will lead in 2023! So far there is only one youtube channel explaining the intricies of the Manticore textbook! Very professional! Manticore rocks!

No it won’t. It’s no better than the Deus 2.

@@scottp4193 No one could ever make that statement. As I stated at the end of the day Manticore will lead in 2023. That statement is premature! The Deus 2 has been around long enough to determine its' rating? The Manticore is premature? Thanks for reading my comment and replying.

I have both you can’t even use beach low conductor in the wet sand! So what good is it? And in the water the D2 is way more stable without having to drop the sensitivity 15 points! And you can use all the beach programs in the water on the D2! I think the core is good machine but you will dig allot more trash with it. They need to clean up the TDI ! On the D2 there is a separation on the targets. You can tell what foil is! On the core it will have you digging everything.

Thank you for your time in making this video. Are you still using these settings and can you post your current settings if they're different today? I'm in Florida, on the Treasure Coast. It would amazing to find something from a shipwreck using your settings. Thank you & God Bless you and your family.

Awesome video. I’m becoming a big fan of your channel. I took my Manticore to Navarre Beach FL this past weekend and noticed the same loss of signal with the surf setting. I’m going to make your recommended adjustments and attempt to duplicate your findings on some gold targets of my own. Thanks for a very informative post! If you ever find yourself along the Florida and Alabama gulf coast, I hope I can buy you lunch and allow me to pick your brain. Happy hunting.. I’ll certainly watch for another of your videos.

Pretty much very similar performance to all the other multi-frequency detectors using those same frequencies. Just got to learn how to tune whatever brand detector you have to the same state. Different brands use different numbers on their settings and you just got to know what gets you where on your brand. Most brand comparisons videos fail to mention this for some reason.

Separation! What is the separation speed? Minelab has never been second to none! Perhaps the detector is 'illustrating' 'rap around' by unmasking! And that 'wrap around' is the 'iron' you are hearing?

Why did they make deep low conductor for the dry only?

I liked your video, I wished you could mount your GoPro to your Manticore so we could see the screen better.

Maybe deep mode is more tuned for higher conductive targets. Do the same test on a silver ring.

Thank you again for sharing your settings. You forgot to tell us what the T2 End & Pitch are set to. By default, they are set to 99 & 50. What should we change them to? Thank you for your help and time.

I don't remember for sure, but I think that I left them at default. I shared my current settings on one of my latest videos- ua-cam.com/video/Mp9O5uu7K_g/v-deo.html

How the heck are you testing saltwater beach modes when you're not at a saltwater beach? From the Manticore manual:
    . Beach modes are
designed to minimise the noise generated
by the presence of conductive salt water
for a smooth, quiet detecting experience
in these conditions.Beach Modes specifically identify any
residual salt response and assign a
Target ID of 0 (zero), and a low tone similar
to that given to ferrous targets so that it is
    easily distinguished from desirable targets,
    and can be discriminated out.
Unless you are at a saltwater beach with these targets buried, you haven't figured out how the machine reacts. Also, just plain WET sand conducts different than your dry dirt.

to me this sound scheme is useless. How can i say when it´s a flat piece of foil or a 14k gold chain? With the nox and 50 tones is pretty easy to know.
