Amazing, Kathleen! You have combined all of these elements into an interesting and unique work of art, whilst showcasing The Graphic Fairy’s printables so well. Thank you! 😀💞
Thank you Keryn! I appreciate that and all your watchtime!
The distressed pages go perfectly in this journal! 😃
Thank you Elaine! I'm glad you like them. I really had fun with those materials.
This has to be my favorite so far! I’ve been sitting on the fence about joining Graphic Fairy, thought too many of the images were too cute for me, but you have proven me wrong-let the adventure begin!!
I'm glad you think so Kym - this was really the most fun to make! I sat on the fence for a long time too, using the free images on the blog. It was a happy day when I finally joined - the images are really wonderful and exquisitely prepared to do what we like to do with images - you will love it. Thanks for watching.
Beautiful! I love steampunk and this Egyptian twist is so original!

I’m, so glad to hear it Jennifer! It was a fun make, for sure!
WOW what a creative journal!! Loved the ancient Egyptian theme, beautiful colorways, and especially the mixed medium touches.
Thank you so much!
This is a fascinating journal, and your mixed media pages are so gorgeous. You always do such a beautiful job with color combinations. How great that you had the thrift store book on Ancient Egypt to draw other images from to combine with the digitals, which you did seamlessly. The "linen-look" sanding was perfect to make those pages fit in so well. As always, I enjoyed the flip through so much. Thank you for sharing your ideas with us. Your work always inspires me.
Thank you Linda! I am glad to hear you say this and appreciate your encouragement! Thank you for watching.

Thank you!! I'm glad you like it - thanks for watching.
This is amazing ❤. Love how you put it together combining so many different things. The fresco pages are beautiful. I may need to try my hand at that.
Thank you so much Evie! The inks and paste was so fun. A bit of a bold move, haha, but I love how it turned out. You really should try it.
Kathleen, your book is spectacular! The colors are marvelous, and they do have a desert esthetic. The blue lotus image really wowed! I wish you had more steam punk in the book, though I know images are hard to find. I’ve read steam punk novels, and I loved them. A place to get images may be old patent diagrams online. Maybe the steam punk Egyptologists employed steam-powered robots or steam shovels. Your combination of steam punk and Egypt is very cool, and has given me a lot to think about. My first thought was the space alien gods in the Stargate movie and tv series. Thanks for that! I hope you make another Egypt book, since you have all those resources. You really nailed the Egypt feel as I imagine it. BTW, Mara means “truth of the sun god Ra” in Egyptian, though I’m not Egyptian. 💜💜💜
Thank you Mara - I’m sure I will do another. I did focus more on Egypt than steam, but there is always another opportunity, haha. So many journals, so little time…thanks so much for watching! Mara is certainly a beautiful name.
@@BeAgainBooks Mara certainly is an exotic name. It suits my personality now. I like what you make, Kathleen. 💜💜💜
