I knew this video would be amazing and worth the wait!! I’m trying to think of the things I saw that I loved so much, so I could explain to you how they affected me. But Barbara! Seriously, it all affected me. I’m so glad you push yourself to join in (where you said you’re an introvert, I’m sure the easy thing would be to sit at home). I loved ALL the gold!! So beautiful. I especially loved the Gold Leaf “Stencil”. They turned out so beautiful. I loved seeing everyone else’s Journals. So much talent. I think if Luise would have come with you (I saw where you said you’ve been trying for 2 years. Lol), I could see her dipping her Journal in the dye baths. It kind of reminded me of how she grunge’s up her Journals. Your bag and insert really worked well for you. Thank you for putting us in one of those pockets and taking us along with you. I really enjoyed myself. Lol

Amazing experience for sure! Retreats are always a bit overwhelming and at times create hesitation within the creativity! The museum and the visit to the journaling sales place looked amazing! I would likely not have been able to resist a beautiful leather covered journal. I have not had much success with purchasing vegan products, they tend to react to cold and heat more negativity, cracking and showing wear. Growing up a farm girl we made the most of all natural products. Your use of all the supplies made from recycled packaging and paper is an inspiration to me with using junk mail, old fabrics, found jewelry, it is beautiful and I have cut leather clothing up for junk journal covers and ties to give it new life! Thanks for sharing your lovely journey and experience.❤❤❤

I know how it feels to be an introvert in a sea of extroverts. Good for you for stepping out. I love to teach but find it difficult to produce anything in that kind of environment. That is the benefit of UA-cam so those of us that can’t work in any other way can stills experience the teaching of the elite artist. Thank you for sharing. The paint baths were amazing but beyond my scope of experience. I would need to plan for that. Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦

Oh my goodness Barbara!!!! What an experience. I too am an introvert. In one way I would love to do something like this, but I know I do not do well in groups, I can’t take classes either. I’ve tried, I get through them, then afterwards I realize I haven’t retained anything I was taught and actually did in class 🤔. Your sweet journal is such a keepsake and the tour of the museum, wow. You are correct when you said how fortunate you are to live where you do
