    I always enjoy the way you capture your surrounding, and the strategies you implement to improve your eye for scenes.
    Putting electrical tape on my LCD for composing a 2:1 crop helped me get used to the 28mm. I used to feel like I was too far away from what I wanted to photograph. After a while I looked at scenes differently, and took off the tape.
    I think the thing that was blocking me from feeling comfortable with the 28mm was clutter. I was used to wanting my subject separated from the world so they stood out more. 28mm forced me to encorporate the world into the photo in creative ways - and while I need to work a scene more to get the best image of a place that I can, I usually prefer the result because it captures place in a way that I could only achieve with a photoset at longer focal lengths.
    I still like both styles, but I enjoy the challenge now more because my goal is to capture the mise-en-scene in one image.
    I recommend EyeXplore. Lucasz does a lot of work with Ricoh and takes amazing images with his GR tactics. Check out his Asakusa GR video. It's great. Also Pat Kay and his video on 24mm being one of his favourites. ✌️

    I love your videos and the great shots! It would be helpful for us newbies if you could post your settings when you pop your photos on the screen. Keep up the great work!

    Compact cameras and smartphones are really great for street photography: inconspicous, pocketable and easy to handle. I don't even take my DSLM out of home because the other cameras are more convenient and the image quality is almost the same (APS-C). No need for a camera bag, lens cap etc. anymore and you can take it easily with you to work, family excursion etc. so there is more time spent for photography.
    Hope the camera manufacturers will continue to produce high-end compact cameras like Ricoh GR III, Canon GX5/7, Sony RX100VII...
    By the way - great channel with nice POV!

    Relatable with the wide focal lol! Ive been shooting on the 28-70mm for almost a year and finally got the sigma 30mm f.14, massive difference in photo compositions but love a challenge when it comes to new equipment. As always thanks for such a well made video!

    Great video! If I only want good JPEG photo straight out of camera, do you think Ricoh or fujifilm is the better one?

    Been loving the vids had a little binge last night, you said you struggle with the wider focal length but have you tried using the gr3x as its roughly 40mm equivalent?

    Very nice, are you shooting raw and using lightroom preset or is this out of camera jpegs ?

    8:32 what shutter speed are you using here? Very quick reaction to capture the bike so guessing it’s quite high. Very relaxing to watch these videos. Thank you 🙏

    There's the GRIIIX now with 40mm. Have you considered it?

    • @adriensanguinetti
      @adriensanguinetti  Рік тому

      Sure! Especially that I prefer 40mm over 28mm but did not have the chance to try it yet

    As soon as I saw your video, I liked it so much that I subscribed.
    I'm curious about the neck strap that comes out at the beginning of the video, so can you tell me the information?

    • @adriensanguinetti
      @adriensanguinetti  Рік тому +1

      Thanks for the sub! Actually I just bought a long shoe lace in a 100Yen shop here in Japan. Then tied it with the wrist strap that comes with the RICOH and that's it ^^'
