Ain’t Misbehavin’ (In progress version-Instrumental Fats Waller cover by Jay Stern)

This is a 1930’s tune I have been having some fun with, Fats Waller’s classic jazz standard “Ain’t Misbehavin”. I am basing this off Pat Donahue’s version on his video of playing jazz standards on acoustic guitar, but his version is so complicated that I needed to scale it back to a more workable chord structure. At any rate, it has turned out to be one of my favorite arrangements (and really fun to play…lol).

The guitar is a 1997 Martin 0000-1. It needs a neck reset and new frets, but it’s so snappy and responsive that it’s becoming one of my favorite critters.
