  • The Northern Lights are a truly magical sight, and it is not surprising that sometime in the past, "heavenly dances" were attributed exclusively to the gods. The Vikings believed that in this way the Valkyrie collects the souls of the fallen warriors in order to raise them to the heavenly palace - Valhalla.
But what is the Aurora Borealis scientifically? You will find the answer in this video!
Also, many people associate Norway with the northern lights, but in fact, catching it is not easy. We often get this question, and we decided to make a video guide on the topic!
In this video, we will give you 5 practical tips that we use ourselves.
And we will show what we saw during our travels! And we will also show you how to take the best photos of the northern lights - if you are lucky enough to meet it :)
We hope this video will be useful, we tried very hard :)
Feel free to ask your questions and write your wishes in the comments, we are always pleased to read them!
    About Us:
We are traveling across Norway with camper Hymer Eriba Troll 530 Rockabilly. Most of our trips are relatively short and start from Fredrikstad in Norway. For those who are limited in time, you might discover what you could see during a two-day or three-day trip in Southern Norway.
You are welcome to leave your questions in a comment to the video and we will try to answer our best!

Thanks! We are willing to make a road trip next year, winter will be to cold for Brazilian, so the question is, September or April is the best month to go? Thanks… best regards and congratulations for the Chanel

Thanks! September is our pick, but if you wish to see more snowy peaks and make some photos with banks of snow, then April...
Speaking about The Northern Light - same chances for April and September... 20-30% during the whole month... closer to North, better chances!!!

Quite good chances, but it is a gamble with the Sun. We experienced on of the best Northern Lights in late August.
