  • After a great discussion, Rener puts me on the spot to see if I can stand on the swiss ball. I have been unsuccessful with this for YEARS! He gave me a few tips and within minutes, IINSTANT SUCCESS!

i like jiujtisu, but what's up with disrespecting other martial arts (karate)? i see it around a lot, why do a lot of jiujitsu practitioners look down on other martial arts? jiujitsu has proven itself, but it's not like the end all be all martial art that solves all physical encounters in your life. a little respect to other arts (even though YOU think may not be as effective) can't hurt... technical wise, jiujitsu is great, but it has a long way to go on respecting other martial arts it seems.

I’ll correct Rener here. “If you can breathe and move on your own, you can do Jiu-Jitsu.” How do I know? Because I have cerebral palsy and do not walk. I’ve been doing Jiu-Jitsu for 14 years now. I hope that answers your question

Ninjitsu, TKD, Kempo.... this guy was a no one in martial arts and specially because he doesn't understand that it is not the martial art what matters, but the practicioner. All martial arts are deadly, as long as they don't become sport.

Before fighting me, you should start with fighting your doubts, your lack of confidence, your ego, and all those weaknesses of yourself. You should really learn a lot more from the Gracies !

Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Maryland you're very welcome and remember: no one is better than any one, there'll always be someone better than you, starting with yourself. Put some more inner peace, spirituality and wisdom into your training, your mind and your heart because that's what will make you become a true master and a better human being.
