Yep. Though it annoys me that the author had the character call everything a demon. It'd be like the first Western European to come across a Grizzly Bear and scream "Oh god, a demon!" or the first European explorers of Australia and New Zealand seeing Kangaroos and Komodo Dragons and exclaiming "Demons!". It might come as a surprise to people, but Christians (even in the 1800s) knew that animals exist, and could generally tell the difference between something likely natural vs supernatural. Swap this out with a small Hindi village and calling all of the dinos 'Asuras' (or 'Devas', or whatever is the most culturally appropriate) and see how much flack you'd get.

I want to include this one because it's kinda funny: *SCP-6861 Sic Semper Tyrannosaurus* (was an SCP who was born on February 1809 in Kentucky, USA. People who perceived it instead see it as an Anglo-American male, and also has human intelligence, making it almost impossible to identify it as a dinosaur until it's death in 1865) (Later in 1865, he died in a theater by the infamous confederate sympathizer John Wilkes Booth by shooting him in the eye socket, uttering the phrase "Sic Semper Tyrannosaurus". My favorite part of 1265 is when they're discussing the entities with the tribe and they show them an image where the tribesman pretty much says "yep, that's one, except it should have feathers"
We can all agree that whether we’re children or adults, we’ll always in someway be fascinated by the world of dinosaurs and the many possibilities they bring in both media and real life cultures. Even when extinct, dinosaurs are all around us!
Strangely this is the second SCP that’s had birds acting quite suspicious (the other being 2967 where a very intelligent octopus talks about how they are in a war with crows to in it’s own words “Be the next you”)
I remember one of the earlier SCPs, from the pre-1000 era (Series I), who was a dinosaur time-traveller who came to our era. After a quick search, that anomaly was SCP-317: -1 was her body, since she died from a bacterial infection; -2 were her personal effects, like her clothes and devices; and -3 were the remains of her time machine, which she was attempting to repair before she got picked up by the Foundation.

Like in the beginning the ancient people thought of them as Gods and Dragons that breathed fire and were immortal. Nowadays they are thought of as natural animals closely related to birds. That would be an extreme case of reality warping.
That’s actually a pretty interesting idea for an SCP! Which also works with how in real life the mental image of a dinosaur is evolving with each new scientific breakthrough about them.
I actually had this exact idea with "A completly normal T-Rex", an entity that takes on the most popular form of a T-Rex with archelogical evidance suggesting thats only a juvinile form and the adult was much more dangerous, larger and was dragon like. After Jurrassic Park came out the foundation had to damage control to make containment easier and thus we transistioned to big bird trex and hero trex in the Jurrassic world films. @Ghoul Yeah to prevent Dinosaurs/Dragons from returning and overthrowing us the SCP Foundation and perhaps all world governments would participate in a worldwide global amnestic practice where dinosaurs are getting more and more attuned and normalized to the natural world. Eventually they will probably either remove dinosaurs from existence, but if that takes too much amnestics to the point where people will realize something is up they could always try nerfing them to the point where they were just seen as overgrown chickens that were "Super Lame" compared to the awesome pre-scientific interpretations of their bones.

SCP-250 is an otherwise ordinary story even in SCP standards. SCP-3637 is a really sad story about motherhood and desperate resurrections. SCP-6556 is basically Markiplier mixed with dinosaurs and some Jurassic Park shout-outs. SCP-1265 is The Lost World, but thankfully less bloody and more wholesome. SCP-4041 is, I don't know, a civil war between birds and dinosaurs. SCP-4003 is sorta like Cowboys vs. Dinos, with an anti-religious spiel to boot.
Scp-4003 sounds a lot like Time Spike by Eric Flint. With a modern day prison, some conquistadors and native americans during the trail of tears got transported to the creatuous period. Which is also part of the Assiti shards series that focuses on similar situations but different time periods.
Could you by chance make a video on some of your personal favourite SCPs? Even if you've already covered them I would love to hear your take on what makes them particularly good.
The one about the old west town stuck in the Cretacious... It's actually kind of a terrifying thought, imagining being a person with no concept of dinosaurs suddenly transported to a place with no other humans, no civilization... At the mercy of flora and fauna that defy imagination.
Okay, I LOVE SCPs, and have read... a lot of them. But somehow, I managed to never come across a dino-SCP. Some of these are really good. 6556 is my favorite one so far, I think. There are so many "dark" youtube channels, Dino Vlogs has them all beat. Even going so far as to have the host acting like some modern UA-camrs who've had some controversy, complete with an apology video! I don't usually like meta SCPs, but I think this one passes muster because of how in-universe there is an anomalous explanation for it.
The one about Birds Vs Ghost dinosaurs absolutely was written by a person beyond salty about dinosaurs getting feathers and is just a weird fan fiction of their scaly dinosaur childhood being true
To be fair, it’s worth saying that many dinosaurs really didn’t have feathers, which everyone apparently forgot about. This SCP is like a cry from the heart.
Yeah like I hate SCPs like that change an aspect in the real world with, "Hurr hurr hurr it was magic" without a clever explanation or a reason other than a fanfic of our wolrd.
Omg, I LOVE how in character he gets! That last entry was * finger kiss* Whenever I go out for my night jog, I put on an SCP log or Lovecraft story narration only by him. The voice and energy whisk me away, and I forget I'm running and tired. By the time he's done and I'm back to reality, my workout is nearly complete!
My inner child will never stop being amazed by the concept alone of dinosaurs, even even now so many years later I'll still stumble on a toy or trinket of some jurassic or dollar store knock off that makes me think of burying them in the sandbox or in the dirt and then just taking whatever tool toy I could to excavate "a rare find"
Yes finally! Now *these* are the types of scp videos that should be 30+ minutes to an hour long! Your compilation and GOI videos have always been too short compared to when you make a video on just 1 scp :(
I'm disappointed you didnt include this one. I forgot the number, but it's Cretaceous physicist time traveler dinosaur who traveled to our timeline. He was trying to fix his time machine before he died of natural causes. It even wore clothing typical of physicists. Truly boggled the Foundation.
The most unrealistic thing about that dino-blog SCP is that the paleontologists didn't have an add blocker.

Or a pay wall to see their papers.

I just wanted to say your ye olde time voice for the last one was SO good, really enjoyed it. This was a great video, great picks!
I'd so watch that dino blog. it honestly sounds really neat.
Ah yes I was up for this upload dude! Awesome thanks a lot watching it rn!
This is like the first time he missed a weekly upload
Missed you this past week, I hope all is well!
DinoBlog has brought me almost as much joy as Lord blackwood
The last story is the saddest It always brings me to tears those poor people don't even understand they've been sent back in time
This Sunday/Monday upload is something I look forward to!
Thanks!
Been waiting on this one for a while, thank you.
Dinos, with an anti-religious spiel to boot.
maybe more a wholesome, morr fun version of a paul brother. lol
Great simple summarization
Scp-4003 sounds a lot like Time Spike by Eric Flint. With a modern day prison, some conquistadors and native americans during the trail of tears got transported to the creatuous period. Which is also part of the Assiti shards series that focuses on similar situations but different time periods.
Anti-religious spiels are based.
Feels like 4041 was written by someone who doesn't realize that dinosaurs share more anatomical traits with birds than just feathers
I’m glad you liked 6556! It was definitely a lot of fun to play with the UA-cam format and write dinosaurs so I’m happy you enjoyed it 🦖
And the absolute lack of genuine regret
This makes it so much better understanding the references to the Jurassic Park Books
Ok, dude, I gotta sleep. I'll watch this in the morning! :D
Oh my gosh the T-Rex apology video segmet just destroyed me. That's golden.
listen to you almost every night. hope your doing okay man
I love the Baragon cameo in the Mokele-mbembe story
Man, that last SCP would make
an awesome tv show
Thanks for great content as always!
That dino blog Zoom conference, hilarious! What a great addition to these quirky SCPs.
I’ve watched your videos for over 2 years now, you’ve given me such a fantastic perspective of reality 😊🥰🥳
Thank you
Yes finally! Now *these* are the types of scp videos that should be 30+ minutes to an hour long! Your compilation and GOI videos have always been too short compared to when you make a video on just 1 scp :(
Ty rex has the most youtube thing in it ever and omg i cannot be more satisfied
SCP-4041 sounds more like something a feather hating paleontologist would do
I love dinosaurs, I love SCPs, and I love your videos, this is the best
I love dinosaur youtuber. More scp articles should read like smosh sketches
Finally reads one off about my favorite things. And I now know the upload times. Good nights ahead.
*Dr. Malcolm is mentioned*
Me: That's--That's chaos theory.
did you catch the mention of Dr. Eleanor Grant?
Dinosaurs and sci-fy horror? Sign me right up
I opened UA-cam hoping you had dropped something new! And it’s the perfect length, too.
hope you okey man , a big fan of your work , waiting for a new episode this week
IVE BEEN HOPING YOUD UPLOAD, THANK YOU
TES: "We'll never see a dinosaur in the flesh."
Keith Richards: "Am I a joke to you?"
The outro song was a nice touch. Great job once again!
I loved the few music cue's from Jurassic Park at the end of the video; really everything full circle.
Damn. Right in time for Prehistoric Planet.
What's that?
@@michaelandreipalon359 A new dinosaur documentary ua-cam.com/video/vnoNeMlNeD0/v-deo.html
@@michaelandreipalon359 a dino documentary series on apple tv that just came out. i REALLY wanna watch it.
@@lebonk8081 It's super good! I recommend it.
@@nono9543 i KNOOOW!! I don't have Apple plus, sadly
There is a book when Harry Dresden animates a dinosaur as a mount in a musuem when facing a powerful necromancer in Dead Beat.
I'm disappointed you didnt include this one. I forgot the number, but it's Cretaceous physicist time traveler dinosaur who traveled to our timeline. He was trying to fix his time machine before he died of natural causes. It even wore clothing typical of physicists. Truly boggled the Foundation.
