i think like a small vekoma suspended family coaster with lots of underground tunnels would be the perfect addition if they want to invest in something big, its very family oriented yet still is fun for thrill seekers, is very accommodating, is unique and would look cool and give great views, plus if they made lots of it underground a little bit like i said it would be under 35ft
I agree something like that would work well with the park, but considering their relationship with SBF Visa, I figure they'll continue going to them. I wouldn't find seeing one of those Big Air Coasters.
Quassy has really gone all out in recent years. It's amazing how fresh the park looks while retaining its classic charm. Does the park still allow swimming in the lake?
Hey Canobie, im planning a trip up to Quassy this week. I was wondering, do you know how much parking is? Also, do they still offer a pay per ride system? I see on the website they only offer a wristband. Hope to hear back! Keep up the great content!
@@CanobieCoaster Thanks for the reply! Im paring it up with Lake Compounce. Have you visited LC on an education day? Do you know what crowds will be like?
My prediction is that they are gonna add one of those SBF Visa Big Air kiddie coasters with the one flipping car. 1: the park is working with SBF Visa 2: they have been adding more thrilling rides 3: I’ve heard they are thinking about adding a third kiddie coaster
The Big Air Coaster would be perfect around Kiddieland if they ever needed to remove Little Dipper. But I agree they've done a lot of work with SBF Visa lately.
They were known for having the COAA Band Organ Rally in September of 2009. I attended a band organ Rally there shortly after in 2015 and enjoyed walking around. Sadly Splash Away Bay was closed for the season and I already had my bathing suit on in the car.
@@StamfordBridge To Quassy's defense, they added a new slide tower for their water park in its former location so objectively it was a big upgrade. It's not like they announced the removal of 4 classic rides with no replacement in sight.
No longer has free admission… While visiting Lake Compounce last month, I made the extra drive to Quassy, only to find paid parking and a paid admission only, apparently a new change this year. Being as admission tickets aren’t that cheap for how small it is, it just didn’t feel worth it to pay this price essentially just to get on Wooden Warrior. We turned around and drove away, heartbroken 💔
I plan to do one, but I have a few other videos lined up next. I want to finish sifting through some early 2000s Compounce footage I got from my parents.
The Canobie review will be coming in the next month or so. The Six Flags New England review will wait until next year since I don't have any of my own video footage for that park.
When Massachusetts was under a hard lockdown in the spring, I made a huge backlog of videos. So most videos that I'd film (today for example) wouldn't go up for a few weeks unless it was time sensitive.
Such a charming little place. Loved Wooden Warrior. Will definitely be back!
I always try to pair it with one Lake Compounce visit per year.
2nd best coaster in the world!
It’s a classic!
Where is Sam
You really sell this park! It seems right up my alley. I love these well preserved older parks.
Me too, it has its own niche in New England.

I haven't gone in the water park/beach side in over a decade, but I imagine they still allow swimming.
I was there today!
And they do still allow it
Long live the smaller family parks ! Thanks for posting .
I love seeing these small parks grow.
It’s crazy how intense those small frisbee rides are
They're very nauseating.
Ues
Wooden Warrior looks amazing. I hope more coasters like it come to parks.
Agreed! These small Gravity Groups are the only reason I frequent Story Land and Sesame Place as often as I do.
It’s a classic woodie! You’ll love it :)
Now that this place has a water coaster, I am definitely considering a visit here in the future if I am with friends or have kids.
It's a solid little park.

I think parking is $5ish dollars. They did away with the pay per ride option during covid.

Yeah either that or the larger spinning coasters without the hamster wheel

That's cool they hosted that event.
One of 3 of my home parks. Such a classic park
It's a fun little park.

Its a fun park for the family!
Reverse Time looks pretty cool
It has some good forces.
The park is about as big as a postage stamp, but it’s well worth it for Wooden Warrior alone. Oh, and it has a helter-skelter. 😊
Unfortunately, the helter skelter was removed :(
Canobie Coaster Oh, of course. Why not? They can ship it to the same lot where the Kangaroo ride will soon be rusting.
😣

@@reissmith5727 I don't have a set day yet. When you see the park off-ride footage video go up, the park review will follow.
