Una maravilla realmente . sobre todo como cuida el bosque sin dañar otras plantas .felicitaciones .congratulations - we need many like this one in Argentina ...
The control scheme looks incredibly simple and intuitive. Making it RC would add to the cost and complexity, and make it more likely to fail. There's an acronym in the engineering community that the people who designed this clearly kept in mind. It's KISS. "Keep It Simple, Stupid". This is good, simple, practical design. Remote control isn't really necessary, as you have to walk over to the logs and attach the chains anyway, and it creates more problems than it solves.
I agree it could use some changes but for small farmers who dont need so much wood thisbis ideal and this is very useful to reach hard to get places where a normal tractor.just can't reach. If i had the money i would buy this machine today just with some modefications.
The thing maybe some ppl dont understand, why not to take a 4x4 tractor, atv(wanna see the atv what pulls the 3 long trees on this ground) etc.,big machines destroy the ground, thats why also in western countries ppl use "again" horses for this work.but as someone wrote before, horses makes also lots of work and costs,I think this little machine is a clever thing.
If it runs out of gas... fill it up again. I'm sure if you can haul this thing around, you an haul around a gas can or two to fill it up. Seems perfectly practical to me.
12:45 Exactly what the guy is doing. It is not a 100% safe and ergonomic design. Using a remote control, even wired would be much safer and comfortable. With a remote control the operator could walk on the side or behind of the machine eliminating the threat of injury.
a cushman trackster with a winch and metal plate that pivoted, which is pretty much what this machine is, or any good argo with a winch and pivoting metal plate, anything that could handle half the weight of the towed logs, and mount a winch on the back above a metal plate, or even small dump bed if you felt like making it
Also, a remote control wouldn't make it safe to walk behind it going up steep hills. In fact, it would make it even less safe, as there's one more thing to go wrong.
Toy or tool? I wouldn't want to be walking in front of it downhill while it was trying to brake three logs. Nor would I like to be alone when the thing tipped over, which it looked as if it could do quite easily.
Houdini/Einstein mfn genius. this guy must be 'winch happy', he has to park 200 feet away from the log he's going to choke. they didn't show where he had to fanangle over those stumps when he coulda drove over or past them. i think his fuckin head is harder than his fuckin hard hat !
try a quadbike, 10-20 times faster and ya dont have to walk beside it, and it dont tear up the ground as much as that thing, and you can also use it for other thangs than hauling logs
Nice machine. Not so big it destroys the woodlot, but big enough to do the job. I get a kick out of the idiots who wrote some of the comments. Obviously, they have never tried to do any logging. I have.
I don't know why you have to harsh and call people names. I work in my wood lot and that unit would tip over in it. I use a 4 wheel drive tractor and a logging winch. The woods in these picture are tame compared to where i live.
Have you ever checked-out what it costs to buy and keep a team healthy? They eat and need care 24-7-365,even in off season (spring break-up,bad markets, personal illness, injury etc.). Do you have any idea what a skidder of any style costs to buy and maintain ? Fuel, tires, hoses, cost of transport etc.. Been-there,done-that(50+years).Keep your overhead low and keep it as uncomplicated as you can. I can pick out the bunny fukrs and the trolls and the wanna-b's. This guy is on the right track!
A real 'flesh and blood' horse would be just as effective and would be more environmentally friendly. They don't consume hydrocarbon fuel and they don't damage the ground.
Honestly, for all the playing around he's doing, a set of good clydesdales or mules would do everything that "toy" is doing, and more, a whole lot quicker and safer from what I see. Plus you wouldn't be polluting the environment or needing gas out in the middle of nowhere. He almost ran over himself many times. Very dangerous it looks. Don't look very durable either.
That's good for old people living in the woods, save grandpa's back
I've never seen a vehicle/tool/tractor like this before. Incredible work saver.
Skvelá mašinka, gratuluje. Veľa zahraničných hejterov nepochopilo jej význam, lebo doma ťažia holorubom.
Cool, velmi dobrý nápad.
Vypadá velice pěkně. Klobouk dolů
i am hungaryan forester, and VERY VERY like this!!!!!
Best music choice, this is hilarious.

How cute.. you need to hold his hand always when operating ;)
What is that clicking sound in video?
What do YOU keep in the back of your truck!?
Čau jak sa máš
what is the weight of this machine?

Will it blend?
WHERE IS THE SEAT??????

What is the name of the song please.
Like the tipping design!
The music reminds me of those instructional video's in school.... you know the kind... the kind that makes the video feel SOOOOOOOO much longer!

bake in my days, we used mules.
+Jack Knopf it was meant to sound irish and _my_ is read _me_
I liked the outfit and the music! You can say the name of the soundtrack?
It needs an seat for my arse.
so envious i can see 10 ways dor it to be better
Also, a remote control wouldn't make it safe to walk behind it going up steep hills. In fact, it would make it even less safe, as there's one more thing to go wrong.
apparently u have to put it in the van for a rest after every log u pull
Awesome video for the times when i cant go to sleep. A atv would do this ALOT faster as many guys have all ready said.
Toy or tool? I wouldn't want to be walking in front of it downhill while it was trying to brake three logs. Nor would I like to be alone when the thing tipped over, which it looked as if it could do quite easily.
is that a robbot dog?

Fantastica maquina
bring it to tennessee and hook up to some 3ft dia. white oak logs and see how it works.
A horse is far more better!
Bardzo ładna maszyna, prawie jak mój ISEKI ;)
right now i'm building some stalls for a horse barn, and i'm putting 1000 lbs walls on the back of a 5 wheel John Deer Gator, it does fine

needs to be wider not to flip over. my goodness it looks like it was a couple of time. That real nice level land and it was struggling.
very healthy machine. walking beats sitting in say a "skidsteer" all day
Nice machine. Not so big it destroys the woodlot, but big enough to do the job. I get a kick out of the idiots who wrote some of the comments. Obviously, they have never tried to do any logging. I have.

This is the only threat I have ever seen to compete with selective horse logging.I'm impressed.Throw a blade on it and ?
great video. is there any way to remove the logs machine etc. i love monotonouse music. big thumbs down.
very nice I like this verk
Will it handle a big log? Why did he just pull fence posts - why not a big tree. Probably won't handle it. Those are pine, try a hickor or oak.
Why is soo herky jerky?
I've got a Clydesdale heavy horse that could whoop this thing all day!!
Don't get it.....
Why the heck would you want to pull that thing through the Forrest? Put a seat on that be-atch and DRIVE it!!!
Looks like a real horse would do less damage to the forest.
mk13 and its still shite, dread to think what mk1 was like
I don't think you have enough traction with an atv, in particular on steep hill.
waaay to complicated, why not a stronger(?) mobile cable winch?
eu ??
omg that great finaly human dont kill animals for work nice job human :)

"Wanna hop in my van and I'll show you my wood tools?"
pick up trucks are almost unheard of in europe, thats why the van
Great little machine I want one
I am sure in legoland this thing does a great job.
A Rokon trail breaker or mule would do the job faster and most likely are more affordable than that !
It's alive!!! it's alive!!!!
safer for the operator to be riding it. having to keep looking back at the machine and forward for his own footing is just asking for trouble.
It would be so much better if you could also ride on it when your not pulling logs.
If the land is in bad conditions, it could be very dangerous
Can't you see that it is RC?
nice machine for a select cutting operation.
You obviously have never seen an ATV used on an Indian reservation in Northern Canada!
IT`S good. Only ten years to get one log.
I agree. A good horse or two will do all of that and far more and do it all faster than that gizmo lol
to zcela určitě
Trattore PIERRE P796V - lavorazioni varie
B.S. it can't skid multiple merchantable tree length logs.
i wish i had this rig 30 yrs ago

Co to stojí Kluci??
Pzedám to v Madarsku!
Looks like a hydrostatic drive lawn mower with trax nuting you couldn't make
A skid steer and log chain would be faster
I think a good pair of mules would outwork that thing and cost less in the long run.
