Hello to people still watching this till this day! Questionable edit aside- Kokichi’s character is actually amazing. I’ve seen people call his writing lazy since you never know what is true intentions are, but I think they left them ambiguous on purpose. Because as Shuichi said, the truth lies in the eyes of the beholder. Perhaps his last words were just more lies, and it’s perfectly fine to headcanon that. But I like to believe that he was being genuine in his last moments, because it gives his character more depth and makes his story tragic despite the fact that he brought it all upon himself and willingly
