    I guess you have to cut off the factory mounting brackets to use these?
    Look great and have been considering them

    Looks like I’ll be doing the same to mine once they arrive living here in Southern California. I’m just skeptical if they’re difficult to clean when dirty and if the finish cracks when the fender is bend/ flexes. Thank you for the video!

      So far they are doing great. Easy to clean and durable. I definitely recommend the Herculiner on them.

      @@daledubose3032 hey so followup question, I got my KBD’s installed and plan to do the exact thing you did as far as bedliner, cleaning process and sanding process. I was curious how the fender body clips held up to the screws coming in and out and any pointer or anything you recommend now that you’ve been running them for significantly longer than me.

      @@silverbulletJKU the little plastic threaded inserts have held up well. Taking the flares off and putting them back on didn't seem to affect them. As for tips I'd say clean with a degreaser and sand them so the bedliner has something to hold on to. The Herculiner has been great, just straight from the spray can. No fade, chipping, peeling, or any other issues.

      @@daledubose3032 oops! Sorry I JUST saw this thank you so much for getting back to me, I thought I’d never hear back. Thanks to you I’m set on herculining them. Mine have already started fading in the Southern
      California sun so I can’t wait! Yours look great and I’m sure they’re still holding up well. Again thank you for getting back to me!

    Thanks for the tip, bought mine one your initial recommendation, same fading issue and will paint mine as well. What basket are you using in the back, I have a trailview tonneau top and am looking for storage in back. Hard to see on your initial video as well as this one. Thanks!

      Rack is from Rustys Offroad and mounts to factory holes in roll bar. I highly recommend all their products.

    Looks good! Are you still running stock rubicon wheels? Any wheel spacers? ✌🏻😎

      No, those are aftermarket wheels. 17x9, with -12mm offset, I believe

    Hi, thinking of doing my TJ flares, front and rear bumpers. Would you still recommend herculiner? Thanks for the video!

      @daledubose3032  Рік тому +1

      Yeah I would. I want to re-spray it now though. After 3-4 years I'd say it has held up very well. It has faded but there has been no chipping or peeling.

    Hey Dale, How is the liner on those flares holding up?

    • @daledubose3032
      @daledubose3032  2 роки тому

      It's still intact, but it has faded. I'm still happy with them for the money, but I sometimes wish I had metal with a powder coat or paint finish.

      Great. I used the spray can Herculiner and it looks great. It's been a couple months now and I'm very happy with it. I never need any tire shine product and it always looks good, even when the Jeep is a bit dirty. I highly recommend the Herculiner to anyone with faded flares. It takes about 2 days for the Herculiner to fully dry and it looks much better than when first sprayed on.
