I don't understand why the doctor doesn't give this kind of information to the patient to help with recovery. I've been several times and all they did was give the injection and tell you good luck. Thank you very much for the information. I'm sure gonna try it.

I agree. Had two injections from different doctors, both got out the door as quickly as possible. Once said “ok, we’re done” and the other said see you in 6 months. Notice when you have some kind of procedure, the nurse usually gives you a handout or sheet that gives you some kind of instructions? Not with this. All people should be proactive in taking care of your health. There’s tons of great information you can find on YT from credible sources. This video is a perfect example. Stationary bike with the easiest setting is just a smooth rotation with no pressure and works great. Motion without compression.

A bit late for me now to find out about the special care needed! After the injection ( some 10 days later) my knee became swollen and it took some two months before I could start being able to bend it. It took some 2 more months with training and swimming before I could reach a nearly problem free knee. (The decision for the injection aimed at proactively facilitate my knee joint movement which I felt at times about to “block”. I presently try to exercise regularly (leg press and elliptical machine in the gym and swimming coupled with exercises on my weak glute muscles that seem to have an impact) I have also embarked on chondroeitin/ glucosamine tablets for a month now. Wish me luck…(67 years old male patient)
