Definitely the Vibrant Muffler is standing out to me. I actually have this exact same muffler but have not installed it yet. Really sounds good. Boost logic sounds good also.💯🏁🏁🏁
I was honestly tempted to put the muffler back on. It sounds so smooth. Might throw it back on once the cams are installed or new turbo manifold.

@@boostedproject I'm pretty sure that once you have the head work completed it won't matter what exhaust manifold you have will make a ton of difference. We we all know how it'll go .... Only way to go it Name brand.... I've been liking PHR and 6 Boost lately. Keep killin the video vibes my brother!!!!⭐😎💯🙏 Those are all bad AZZ cars.

A 6 boost manifold + an hks TI race muffler will give you that smooth F1 sound if you use an hks carbon ti muffler it gives it a sport bike type tone... i spent like 4 years of my life trying to design my exhaust to sound like an rps manifold hahah

imo 6 boost manifold sound amazing
Haven’t heard of that before but ima def look into it.
They say if you want good sound to get unequal length headers if you're looking for an okay sound with a little bit more power you go with equal length headers
I’ve read that the material they use for the manifold also determines a lot of the sound.
It's very very true I couldn't figure out how some Subarus sound way different then mine started researching it an unequal headers give the Subaru or WRX that raspy noise that you can tell it's a boxer engine

Boostlogic just came out with a brand new exhaust btw something you can look into if they would sell u the muffler itself . It’s titanium too btw and looks almost the same as the discontinued one . Offered in raw and burnt I seen .

Man that tomei is definitely on my radar but still not sure.
Mufflers arent a bad thing. Vibrant sounded really good but i bet if the body of that muffler was about half the length itd sound even better. Louder isnt always better. Its all about that tone. Where i live guys think decatting a stock 5.3 truck and no mufflers sounds good when in fact it sounds like a clapped out pos, gotta tone that noise down. Also have you tried thicker wall exhaust piping to help change tone too? Or a very small muffler closer to the turbo vs putting it as close to the rear bumper as possible?

Yo so you got me curious and i got to lookin around again and theres a company called aero exhaust i see they make a 5" ID resonator with a 7" od on the muffler body. Might be worth checkin out $170 on their aero exhaust website...ar50 AR series

How does a full 3 inch straight sound in your opinion? I feel like it has a choppy idle but has a high pitch/fighter jet like sound on the high end. It sounds flawless ❤️
Yeah a smaller pipe will definitely be louder but restrict you on HP.
@@boostedproject What if a 3 inch downpipe + 3 inch straight pipe with a 4 inch or 5 inch muffler? How would that sound? and will there still be power loss? I practically don't have any experience with cars thats why I'm just gathering information 😅

At lower rpms the slightest bit but at higher rpms they sound the same imo. 5 inch tip just a little deeper tone on the lower rpm
