since I didn't find any video that showed my case I hope that the comment can be useful to someone, my problem wasn't the connection, the pad was connected, stable light and it also turned on the Xbox remotely, it just didn't work in no way after the xbox turned on, disconnect the batteries, put them back in, etc... nothing worked, I tried removing the power cable for 60 seconds and everything went back to normal, thanks

This was a very helpful video - I have a xbox one and the controllers i have are both fairly new, and they both keep disconnection during game play - idts o damn annoying, Ive tried your steps but with no success. My controller works on the USB connected, but if i do that my wireless Turtle Beach (bluetooth) headphones wont connect so i end up having to play wired controller and the TV sound on - annoying everyone with the games sound any ideas to fix it please wolud be really welcome

Thanks ! I was able to fix this issue by shutting down X series console and unplugged power. I had XBox one X for about 4 years, never had issue like this. it’s so weird that newer console have issue like this.

Hey man, i really need yr help. I just update my xbox today after like a year don't use that. So before i updating everything was normal my controller was fine and the xbox too.
