Hopefully I am actually being helpful here. Assuming you are hitting the E string each time (and no capo), its: C Major 7th (batman) - E minor - B7 add E - E minor. Second riff is C - B7 add E - E minor Third riff is C - E minor - Gmaj7th - E minor. The Add E means you are doing a B7 chord and just throwing in the open E note, it doesn't fit into some triad or something. The C chord is still C even without the high string because you are still hitting the three notes that make up the base chord. Overall nice progression. Disclaimer: I am just a guitar player and not a composer or anything so don't assault me over this attempt to be helpful. As with most chords there are alternative names so interpret as you need. Also to play as she is in the video transpose up a whole step.
It's so strange to see someone doing what you want to do. Please keep it up, as i feel like you are the female version of me, and i hope you achieve everything you are striving for. It's a weird form of therapy to me to see someone else ahead of me, i sorta believe i could get to that spark of hope, too. Thank you. I'll hide in the background of your subscriber list now and revisit.
i’ve been wanting to learn guitar for a while, and i find it really inspiring that you’re self taught! the fact that you’re able to keep your nails looking so nice too is really cool to see. i always hesitate to start playing because i like having my nails longer and i don’t want to clip them, lol
1st part is: C maj 7 - E m - B 7 - E m. And the 2nd part is: C maj 7 (in natural position) - E m - G maj 7. You have a good ear to compose that way without knowing theory. keep it up (I do not speak English very well sry xd)
You should seriously consider talking to the camera more! You seem to have a very warm and charming personality and I find it extremely comforting to hear you talk. Maybe do a Q&A video or an AMA Livestream if you don't know what to talk about? I'd probably even watch you just rambling about your day haha
Man, idk anything about guitar chords but something about the song and the tonality hits the soul so deep. Keep doing you! And thank you for sharing that with all of us :)
If we’re going by the shapes (taking into consideration the capo) the changes are: First riff: Cmaj7 Em B7 Em Before the second riff: Cmaj7 B7 Em Second riff: Cmaj7 Em Gmaj7 Em If we’re going by the actual changes (if anyone wants to play it without a capo + without tuning down a semitone) First riff: Dbmaj7 Fm C7 Fm Before the second riff: Dbmaj7 C7 Fm Second riff: Dbmaj7 Fm Abmaj7 Fm Hope that helps anyone wanting to learn it! The tune just popped up on my feed randomly rn and really dig it! Killer changes! 🖤🖤 P.S. also I’m doing this by ear and sight rn, so there’s a possibility there’s a mistake.. don’t have my axe in hand but I’m pretty sure those are correct
Yooo that riff is sooo good! I listened to your song the other day and sat for a while noodling on guitar trying to find it out. Can I sample it? It’s got me so inspired 😂
I thought this is going to be some psychology life hack but it turned out the song is pretty cool
Love the naming convention for the 'batman' chord lol that's brilliant. Who needs the circle of fifths when you can have a round table of superheroes
keep making music man, it's fucking awesome
thank you, i will!
what will be the next song, ms.@@enamustdie ?
